Ok.
You’ve all heard me talk about Cre8buzz right?
I mentioned it briefly here and here, and here, remember?

And you’ve not forgotten this right??
Well let me remind you…
When the gorgeous and talented Brillig blogged about Cre8buzz just over a month ago it sounded interesting.
I mean, getting new traffic is good right? It’s fun, it’s motivating, it’s a major stroke to the ego and we all need those sometimes don’t we?
So I blagged an invite from her and became a member on 1st September.
At first I wandered around a bit, read other peoples work, looked at their photos. There was a lot to see, but not so much that I was overwhelmed.
I visited Antman to find out what it was all about. He is ‘the daddy’, of the buzz, and I maean that in every sense of the word.

NB. He is not really an ant.
The Buzz has many small communities within one larger one and I chose to join ‘women’ as I felt this meant I could incorporate the whole of me into this community, not just the Mummy bit, the writers bit, or any other bits that are part of who I am.
But I’ve since realised that at the Buzz, you are not confined to a group. The writers visit the mums, the mums chat with the photographers, the photographers visit the women, the men, the seniors, the friends, the lesbian and gay group, and we all share ideas and friendship.
I’ve joined other online communities before, (haven’t we all,) but this one feels different.
There was a good vibe from the start, an intimacy that I’ve not found anywhere else.
People stop by to say hello. They read my stuff, look at my photos, offered advice, comments and friendship and I love it, and you can vote for your favourite photos, posts, blogs, profiles, videos, which means you move up in buzz ranks which also adds to your exposure.
My blog has many new readers and subscribers, and I have found so many great blogs that I would have never discovered because I would have assumed they were ‘not my thing’, or would just not have come across them at all.
Such as Pari and Jackal . (Pari did the fabulous makeover for Barbara above, and she’s a star, I love her to bits.) Both are amazing photographers and also write, as is Minz and so many more.
There’s The Farmer’s Wife who’s a Brit in Finland, Lady in the Red an amazing lady who went bankrupt and is now on her way back up and is helping other women do the same with her wit and wisdom, Blue Momma who makes me laugh, PixelPi who is lovely and makes me smile too, and so many more fun, funny and talented people.
I am meeting published and active writers whose minds I hope to pick in the writers group such as Nell and the lovely Novembrance, but they are not just confined to the writers group, it is not an exclusive club. When they have a project they open it up to all.

I love it.
I think that’s been the best thing about the Buzz for me aside from great friendships.
The fact that I have been motivated, and invited to try new things, such as developing my interest in photography…
Which has in turn made me look at the world afresh and see stuff I would usually have passed by…
And I have renewed my writing aspirations , inspired by the many people here who have ‘made it’ or are well on the way.
So why am I telling you all this?
Well Cre8buzz is new. It is small. It is intimate, but it is growing, and tomorrow,

Sunday 7th October
Cre8buzz goes PUBLIC
and I want to share it with you.
Jen and RC are already there, Leendaluu, Mad Goat Lady, English Mum, Bellevelma, Cami, Walks Far Woman, Bananas, and so many more.
Here’s what lots of other people think about it…
So come and visit, meet some new people. If you want to join, let me know, just email me at jo@jobeaufoix.com, I have invites, or click here for the women’s group.
But most of all listen out for news of the buzz.

It’s going to be HUGE
