I always find memes like this a little depressing, just because it makes me think about stuff I haven’t got, instead of stuff I have, so, dear, sweet, Barbara has stepped forward to answer these questions for me…

1. Where would you live?
Ooo probably in a large Georgian house in the centre of the more fashionable part of London, you know, away from the Beaufoixs riff raff.  One likes to be in the midst of the gorgeous and the glamorous. I would have a basement Savannah style open plan living area, and upstairs quarters for staff.

2. What would your job be (or if unrealistic) what would you do all day?
Darling, I would simply look beautiful all day. Some of us can make a career of that.
I have thought of opening my own boutique of fine Ostrich Wear. It is such a trial to find shoes suitable for those of us who are two-toed you know?

I may ask Kylie or Kate to design a line for me.

3. Who would you spend your time with? Doing what…
I would shop in Knightsbridge, visit the thee-ay-tah and mingle with royalty and the rich and famous.
I do like a good shimmy, but I cannot tell you the bars I would frequent as I know you’d all flock there, anxious to catch a glimpse of my feathery countenance, and I’d hate for you to face the utter embarrassment of not being allowed in – not that I have ever suffered such a fate you understand.

4. What kind of holidays/vacations would you take?
Well I’d have homes in every continent so I suppose life would be one big holiday. But I would like to do a ‘Who do you think you are?‘ for the BBC in Africa.
I’ve no doubt they’d trace me back to royalty…

5. What luxury items would you own?
I’d have a personal feather duster, my own makeup artiste (I have my eye on Pari for that one.) A personal nurse for those days when I am under the weather for no apparent reason, (RC would be perfect), and then I’d have Jo as general chief cook and bottle washer (As is suited to her lineage, or lack of any.)

I’d have a Couple of Dior gowns, Chloe handbags, and of course Manolo Blahniks for every occasion, and a personal trainer to keep my high kicks at their best.

6. What charities would you support or represent?

Charity? What’s that?

Erm, Save the Ostrich??

But for know stick around and bathe in my splendour.

Barbara, dahling, simply fabulous! And thank you for the tag, I’m slightly surprised you’re happy to lower your standards and hobnob with one so lowly but I will do my best :o ) I shall mull it over while away in the far North …

I love Queen Babs. And poor Pixelpi, I’ve tagged her for another meme.

I’m too lowly to be friends with the Fab Babs, but I can aspire to be just like her. I may need to get my neck stretched.

Well Belle, one has to get in touch with the little people doesn’t one?

Lori, I will achieve all this one day. Ms Beaufoix is going nowhere, but I have plans.

Avery, Jo says, ‘no pressure.’ I doubt your ideas wouldn’t be as good as mine anyway. I mean, you’re not even part Ostrich are you?

Mrs Weasley, you’re welcome my dear. We famous types should stick together should we not.

RC, I may pass on your message…if I have the time.

Englishmum, don’t I. And so cultured of you to recognise it my dear. I may add you to my Christmas card list.

Jen, you’re not a bad looking bird as you are, but a good neck stretching and a large feathery behind would definitely improve your prospects.

21st CM. Of course you love me. It’s only natural dear. It’s good that you know greatness when you see it.
