Quickest blog post in the world ever…ever…ever
My computer is ill. We had a weird power surge thing earlier and everything else is back on except our PC. Mr B will look at it when he gets home, but till then I’m writing this at my mum’s but it has to be speedy.
My mum’s in bed with Labyrinthitis. (I’ve never seen her so ill. Love you mum.)
My dad is being chased and terrorised by a 7 year old and a 2 year old who are drunk on fruit shoots and jaffa cakes, so I need to go and rescue him soon.
Thanks for all the comments yesterday. I’ve not had time to read them all but they look fab.
Holly, Cami, Kim, Troy, Luisa and every one else doing BERT, come on, you can do it. I’ll check in at the site tonight if my blumming PC is better. If not, I’ll be back here tomorrow to catch up.
And READ SOME BLOGS.
YAY.
See you soon.
And keep your fingers crossed for my damn Madame PC.

Oh I do hope your computer is better soon, and your mother as well!

Ooh, ick, sick computers. Thank goodness it waited until you were finished with your novel.
Um…what is BERT??

Labyrinthitis? Oooh nasty, your poor Mum! Maybe that’s what your computer’s got. Hope they’re both better soon

Labrynthitis is horrible. It’s only saving grace is that each time it recurrs (and it does) it’s less severe than then last time.

Way to go, Jo! I seriously switched gears on my novel midway through, and now I’ve got two separate books on the go. Come tomorrow I’ll have two half-finished novels instead of one 50,000 word one, so I won’t be able to claim victory.
Which is probably okay, cuz i need to spend the next hour googling fuit shoots and jakka cakes anyway.

oh no……say it isn’t so. A sick PC is never good.

Sorry about your pc, but sorrier still about you mum. We call it vertigo here, and if I have caffeine (or alcohol) I get quite sick with it, so I have a great deal of empathy for her. I hope she can get up again soon. It is really really awful.

Egads, best wishes to your mum, Jo. We’ll be around when you and your PC get back. Hopefully it will be sooner rather than later!

Just popped back in to say hi… and sorry to hear about your mum. I had that when I was preggers the last time and it is really awful (plus everyone thought I was a drunk as I couldn’t walk in a straight line for weeks! V. embarrassing when 8 months gone!). Anyway, hope she’ll soon be off the roundabout and back on her feet.
I’ll try to catch up with the rest of your posts I’ve missed as soon as my ‘Africa tummy’ lets me off the loo long enough! xx

Hi Cami. My mum is good now, and my PC seems ok. Fingers crossed.
RC, BERT is what Cami nicknamed NaNoWriMo as we got fed up of typing it. Bert is much easier don’t you think?
Holly. Sleep? What is that?
Lindy, thank you.
Troy, fruit shoots are fruit drinks that send my kids wappy. I must stop buying them. And jaffa cakes are little orange and dark chocolate and cakey type goodness that my kids could live on. Yum.
Corey. I think it’s better now.
Mrs Weasley she has been so poorly. On the mend now so thank you or your good wishes.
Jen, thanks sweetie.
Cami, I will post about fruit shoots just or you soon. Now what is tiki?
Kim. No problem.
Avery thank you. They’re both good now.
Englishmum you’re back. I’ll be over soon. Africa tummy, that sounds bad, And I can’t imagine having labyrinthitis when pregnant. My mum has been so ill. Poor you. x
