Fun Monday – Spider Pig
Ok. Fun Monday comes today from the lovely Peter at Holties house.
I’m hoping his link will work. It is here…
http://www.holtieshouse.blogspot.com/2008/01/fun-monday-december-31.html
He asked us to “regale us with your best joke and/or cartoon, remember its New Years Eve and we feel
like a good laugh, before 2008 comes along and does its thing on us.”
I know this might be not quite what you meant Peter, but this is what came to mind, and it is a cartoon right?
We love this in the Beaufoix house at the moment.
Miss E insists on watching it at least twice a day, and when she’s not watching it she’s singing it.
She tried to explain it to her 78 year old Grandma yesterday…it didn’t go down well, but Miss E thought it was the funniest thing ever and didn’t seem to mind that Grandma raised her eyebrows at us and shook her head in a confused, befuddled and slightly concerned manner.
Ah well.
Go check out the other Fun Monday participants if you need a giggle.
Happy New Year everybody.
xx

How is it for a six year old? Mine wants the movie so bad but I wasn’t sure it was appropriate. Then again, he watches Star Wars…

Hey Grandma, wanna be my new best friend?? The Simpsons just aren’t my cup of tea …. but humor like a lot of other things has levels that appeal to us all, thanks.

It’s been an absolute pleasure getting to know you. x

That’s so giggle worthy! I’m not showing Emma lest she demand it on an hourly basis or something like that. Happy New Year!

Kaycie, is it a worry that me and Mr B love it too??
Belle, I think Spiderman is pretty tame, but I have a seven year old who has only just watched Beauty and The Beast al the way through for the first time, so I’m probably not the best person to ask.
Tigger, me too. It just makes me giggle.
Brillig, Happy New Year sweetie.
Janet, I love it too. Homer is so daft.
Sandy, Miss E sings it constantly so we all do too. It’s better than singing the theme to Johnny and the Sprites or something though.
AOJ & the lurchers, it gets into your brain doesn’t it.? You have no choice. It just jumps right in there.
Junebug, it makes me smile so much.
Robinella, it’s a good little ditty.
Momo, I keep telling Mr B to stop, but he just thinks he is Lionel Richie. Tsk.
Holly, ayuh-uh is a pretty good place to start. You have to blog it when he manages it.
Peter, you are a gentleman. I loved your cartoons though.
Alison, that’s part of the appeal for me too. It makes Miss E howl with laughter and she makes everybody watch it. It’s so cute.
RC, that’s just what I think when I see it, “Oh Homer.”
Ahh thanks Akela. That’s a lovely comment. It’s been a real pleasure getting to know you too. Happy New Year.
Kim, we’ve had it every day for a week and I’m not fed up of it yet. I occasionally leave the room though.
Happy New Year.

this is the first time I’ve seen spider pig.
Nothing surprises me from Homer, tho.
Happy New Year
