Ok.
I often do these quizzes and think, yeah whatever.
I mean, they’re just for fun right?
But this one actually got it right…
| You Act Like You Are 32 Years Old |
![]() You are a thirtysomething at heart. You’ve had a taste of success and true love, but you want more! You’re responsible, wise, and have enough experience to understand a lot of the world. You’re at the point in your life where you understand yourself pretty well. You are figuring out what you want… and how to get it! |
How funny is that?
Has some genius actually written it, instead of a mad person who says they can tell what flavour ear wax you like just by you typing in your current career or your favourite colour?
Am I that readable?
Do I like being that readable?
Hmmm.
I’m not bothered actually.
I mean, I am 32, and I like being 32.
And I’d rather it said 32, than 82, or 12, though at times I’m sure I do these ages too.
I do feel like I know myself pretty well, and I think I’m doing okay. I’m not sure about the wise bit, but I am more aware of what I want, and I am figuring out how to get it.
As far as I can see, the way to get what you want is to work at stuff, or marry a rich bloke, and as I didn’t do the second, I’m quite happy to go along with the first.
So, if you have time, please, please, please go and see what age you act, and let me know. I mean, maybe we have found the fount of all knowledge. The Oracle. The Yoda of blog quizzes.
And if it gets it right, then I might just do a handstand.

32 sounds like the perfect age, in all regards.
i can hardly remember it.
(it told me i act like i’m 25. but there were no right answers for some of those questions–like the lying one. i haven’t told any of those lies lately. so i had to punt.) (and i am nowhere near 25.)
January 13th, 2008 at 5:56 am
i agree with laurie – some questions had no right answers. the rock music one didn’t have my answer.
allegedly, i’m 31. niiiice. i’ll take 6 years too young any day.

Apparently I act like I’m 28! MWM is always saying act your age not your shoe size!
PS I did your tag ‘flavour of the month meme’.
January 13th, 2008 at 8:14 am
Heeee…I’m 29, that’s the best quiz I’ve EVER EVER EVER taken. I’m sure it’s perfectly spot on.
January 13th, 2008 at 9:28 am
The quiz said I act like I am 24. Honestly, I am glad I am not 24! My kids are closer to 24 than I am. It did say I am optomistic about life and that is true. I guess I have young qualitites.
January 13th, 2008 at 10:58 am
I guess I act like I’m 32 too, but I think the thing was just trying to flatter me.
January 13th, 2008 at 1:09 pm
It told me I act like I’m 27 (I’m 32, like you), but some of the questions – there wasn’t really a right answer, you know? I’d have to agree though, it’s pretty accurate.
January 13th, 2008 at 2:08 pm
Hmmm, according to my kids, I am the same mental age as they are (or sometimes lower!!!)
January 13th, 2008 at 5:39 pm
Oooh! I act like I’m 29!
I loved 29, I’d love to stay 29 forever!
January 13th, 2008 at 8:09 pm
Well, it told me I acted like I was 28 and I am 41!! What should we make of that…I am immature, or youthful!!
January 14th, 2008 at 3:11 am
*snorting* it thinks I act like I’m 29! I don’t even remember 29 it was so long ago but the blurb that went with it probably wasn’t too far from the truth actually!
January 14th, 2008 at 5:48 am
Hhhhm….I am acting like a 17 year old apparently!!
January 14th, 2008 at 10:17 am
it thinks I am 33…
I am not 33 yet. But close. two years and a couple months
January 14th, 2008 at 10:27 am
Hey, I was 32, which for me, is pretty awesome seeing how I was “there” over a decade ago! I didn’t appreciate having to choose between tiramisu and creme brulee, though :/.
I was here for your Fun Monday post, but even though it’s not “here”, I still had fun, Jo
.

I love quizzes also. I meant to try it before I commented, but forgot. I’ll come back after quizz. I have never seen this one.
January 14th, 2008 at 11:50 am
OMGees! I’m 39 and it said I act 25 & this is what it said. Boy! That sure made me feel good.
You are a twentysomething at heart. You feel like an adult, and you’re optimistic about life.
You feel excited about what’s to come… love, work, and new experiences.
You’re still figuring out your place in the world and how you want your life to shape up.
The world is full of possibilities, and you can’t wait to explore many of them.
January 14th, 2008 at 12:44 pm
What a good laugh! It told me I act like I’m 25 yrs old but I am actually 35 yrs old. I’ll take it as a compliment.
January 14th, 2008 at 1:17 pm
I’m 31 apparently. The quiz is spot on. Or will be in a year and a half. =P
January 14th, 2008 at 1:32 pm
LOL – I’ve go a similar result to Katie. However came in at 27…but I’m going to be 40 this year (yee ahh – at the 27 not 30) ;-D
January 15th, 2008 at 3:27 pm
It is not Yoda! it said I was 30! *cries*
January 15th, 2008 at 7:39 pm
I know what you mean Laurie, but at least it didn’t put us at 80 or anything, not that there’s anything wrong with being 80, if you are 80.
Holl, it got the right decade right? I mean, what more do you want? Hee hee.
Akela, I think it’s good to stay young, whatever your age. I plan on acting like an 18 year old for much of my dotage.
Anyway, 28 isn’t that far off.
Lee, I’d have put you at about 29, or possibly even 25. Definitely.
Mrs Weasley, young qualities are good. I don’t think I fancy 24 again. I’m happy where I am now.
Groovy Mom, hi. I think quizzes do the flattery thing sometimes. But hey, that’s a good thing right. I mean, a quiz that said, “You act like a complete old fart” would be mean. Funny maybe, but mean.
Thalia’s child, 27 is an ok age isnt it. And it’s not so far away from 32?? God I loved being in my 20s. Big sighhh.
David, my kids say the same, which is worrying as the are almost 3, and 7. Hmmmm.
Liz, I loved 29 too. I was pregnant for much of my 29th year and had Miss M 2 weeks before I turned 30. It was a brill way to hit 30.
Alison. Definitely youthful. Youthful is good.
AOJ, I think after about 20 we age in experience but are basically otherwise the same. 29 is good.
Picklesmum, 17? Hee hee. I love that.
Cami, I am 33 in a couple of weeks. Blah. But I like where I am so that’s ok.
Robin, I was so late for Fun Monday. I didn’t like that choice either. I didn’t fancy any of them.
Kitten, that is a really cool blurb. 25 is good. You youthful lady you.
Sharon, definitely a compliment.
Kim, it’s not so far off is it. But you are still in your 20s. I am only slightly jealous.
21st Cm, well you look more 27 than 40 too.
Despina, it just means you are focussed and mature and classy. Not wrinkly or anything. And it’s fab to hear from you. Happy New Year to you and the Jezza.
January 15th, 2008 at 7:51 pm
It says I act like I’m 28. That’s not too far off!
