Tiny post today as I have my pre-op assessment at 8.30am tomorrow morning in Derby and need to read some stuff and write down questions.
Misses E and M are staying at Granny’s tonight.
No biggie right?
But Miss M has never stayed away from home…without me.
And I have never been home alone without her.
They phoned to say night night at about eight and it was so weird to hear not just my big girls sweet little voice giggling on the end of the phone, but also my tiny girl’s little voice.
At first, she did the thing where she was obviously nodding replies to my answers. The thing she does for everybody else, then she seemed to catch on it was me and we had a proper little chat, then passed the phone back to my mum.
Mum: “I read her the princess story.”
Me: “She loves that one.”
Mum: “She told me that she wanted a pink castle with two pink fags.”
Me: “Hee hee. Don’t we all?”
Big sighhhhhh.
My little girls are growing up.
Tonight I will be tucking a teddy into each of their beds, as I have to say night night to something.
And I hope Misses E and M will be dreaming of castles, and, erm, pink fags.

Awww. It is hard the first time they spend the night away. Jocelyn still hasn’t done it.

awwwwwwwwww that made me all warm and fuzzy inside. Sugar stays with her grandparent’s at least once a month. IT is good for all, but I miss her so. especially at night night time.
I do hope all goes well tomorrow Jo! I’ll be thinking of you.
hugs!

Good luck with the medical stuff. Oh and finding a couple of fags.

Here’s hoping you have a couple of fags in pink scrubs on the morrow….maybe they will give you fashion advice and a makeover before discharge (not that you need it but a facial would be refreshing…)y
When you are feeling better can you email me at lindalou1158(at) yahoo (dot)com. I have a silly prezzie to send you (NO, I am not a stalker) and if you don’t accept it, I will have to send it to Holly and she won’t like it nearly as much as you would. It will not involve chocolate unless I send it after 1 Feb and then it will contain large amounts…

Best wishes for you tomorrow!

Sorry I’ve been absent. Pre-op??? I’ve missed something, but I hope it goes well for you today. My thoughts are definitely with you.
I remember the first time we left TFYO overnight with her Nana and Papa. We called every two hours. So much for our romantic evening!

Wow, you sure do go the extra mile to get something to post about.
I hope it is quick and painless and you are back with your girlies ASAP.

Lori, it was so weird not having at least one of them there to tuck in, but it was great getting up this morning and only having to sort myself out.
Kim, it was nothing too heavy. Next Saturday will be the scary bit, but it’s nothing to stressful so I’m sure I’ll be fine.
Corey, thanks sweetie. And you’re right. It is good for them isn’t it. Miss M loved it, but I got a really long hug from her this morning.
Cami, I am such a wuss. I just can’t not tuck something in.
Lindy, thanks.
Willowtree, hee hee. I didn’t find any fags. I was soooo disappointed.
Ahhh thanks Lee. You are such a sweetie. And if it’s shareable I may share with Miss Holly. I’m all excited now. Sad isn’t it?
Mrs Weasley, thanks. It was nothing, but it’s lovely that people care.
Holly, I heart you too. And thanks for the thoughts, they are lovely. I will stick them on my fridge.
Thanks Jen. I was like that the first night with Miss E. I really thought M might want to come home, but mum phoned at 9.30pm to say they were both asleep. Fabulous.
Miss Burrows, I am also planning on having a limb removed for my blog. Just for fun you know?
AOJ, thanks. You are a sweetie.
