How to tell your Granny loves you…

1. She will cuddle you even though she knows you are poorly sick.

2. She will cuddle you even though she knows you peed all over your Mummy earlier.

3. She will cuddle you even though you have such terrible gas that Mummy keeps checking to see if there’s anything else there…

4. And, even though she can barely breath due to your rancid emissions, she holds you tight, reads to you and rocks you in her arms.

Granny you are lovely and beautiful.
Miss M says so.
And Miss E seconds it.

Oh, and Happy Valentines Day everybody.

Misses E and M will be asleep soon, and Mr B and I have wine, chocolate and Torchwood to watch, and cuddles to have.

See you tomorrow.

I promise. xx

    Granny’s are the greatest!

Have a lovely evening. My husband and I vowed not to spend any money on each other, so I wrote him a list of 101 reasons why I love him. Took me all damn day.

Some grannies are just naturals, they know how it is done right from the start. I am not such a granny, I am afraid, although I really did try. I suppose I miss that huggable factor and I am not so small child oriented, although I was when my own kids were little. I outgrew it when they grew up.

Still, I suppose I will be a very interesting granny when my grandson gets to be around 20 years old. He’ll be able to have really good conversations with me, because I am kinda cool.

I love watching chocolate on Valentines day, too. I watched a cup of coffee and an apple last night. This morning, I saw an owl. I know – weird!

I have a granny who’s a bit poorly now. But TFYO’s Nana is amazing, and I adore her for all she does when she’s around. Nanas/Grannies/Grandmas are wonderful!

Momo they are. I still miss my Gran every day and she died when I was 11. My mum is the best granny. She has four grandkids so far, and they are all very loved and cherished.

Belle, we watched Ashes to Ashes too, then Torchwood on catch up TV. Oh we’re such romantics aren’t we?? Ashes to Ashes is fabulous though isn’t it?

jettied, me too. And right back at you. :D

Rosie, she might surprise you yet. ;)

Holly it does, and she is. My mum is cool. And why didn’t you get the thing? Should I have words with your young man?

Irene, you are very cool. I bet it will be earlier than 20 when your grandson realizes it. He’s going to have a fabulous time with you. :D

Corey thanks hon. And I need to come see you. I have been bad to get so behind. I’ll pop over tonight and catch up on that Sugarbear. Hugs.

Mrs Weasley, what would we do without them?

    Napoleon, damn you. ;)

Jen, wow, you still have a Granny! Hope she gets better soon. And yay for TFYO’s Nana. I bet she’s so excited.

See, my grandmother just wasn’t the cuddly type. Grampa was though so that was OK.

AoJ we were the opposite. My Grandad wasn’t cuddly, but my Gran was. My Dad isn’t a mega cuddly grandad but he does give the occasional one.

Are you sure it wasn’t Granny dropping the stink bombs? I feel compelled to defend Miss E’s reputation as a sweetly fragrant, angelic Princess.

Belated birthday greetings – and Valentine’s Day too! Lots of chocolate excuses….and it’s going to be Easter soon. Weyhey!

Belle, you can never be late for wine and chocolate. Just buy some more and think of me.

    Akela, I bet you’re a cool Granny. :D

Mya, my mum read this and nearly choked on her drink. Hee hee. She promised that it was definitely M producing the stink, not her. ;)
