I’ve never had a “ferret” before, so I don’t know if that is any fun, although I do enjoy the other activity.

Your meme ‘editing’ was great. And I love ferrets. And I certainly won’t be reading that book any time soon.

Good luck dear Jo on your op. Even a keyhole op will leave you with some discomfort, so demand of the surgeon a prescription for pain medication to take home (it can be given to Mr B), because you’ll be all wonky afterwards. I’ve found that making it clear to the surgeon before hand works well, and avoids calls in the middle of the night, etc.

You’ll certainly be in my thoughts and prayers.

Earthquakes are terribly scary, I sympathize. Surgery is, too. I had a c-section under general anesthesia and three days later, while I was still in the hospital, there was a major earthquake. The two don’t mix well. Hope the surgery goes well and the earthquakes leave you alone! Much love.

Here is an interesting fact for you to ponder as you have your anesthetic, Jo.
Ferrets are illegal to own in California. Why? I have no clue. Celtic Rose and I are going to start a Legalize Ferrets Now! Organization. And, California also has earthquakes. Coincedence? I don’t think so.
As far as your ‘proper op’, I am sure you will be okay. I had a smallish one this year, myself, and was frightened the day of it. But it all turned out. I will send good thoughts your way from the land of earthquakes without ferrets…
