Educational?

The other day, we decided to visit our local museum.

Miss E loves it there.

First we fished for recyclable rubbish…

Then Miss M checked out the seasons with the help of this cool tree, while Miss E studied a dead fish…

And no that wasn’t the prize for the ‘hook-a-muck’ game earlier…

Then Miss M had a go at this very educational puzzle.

I was slightly alarmed when she asked me what this one was, but when we finished the jigsaw we realised it was actually a Horse Chestnut leaf, and not, erm, anything else.

Then suddenly, Miss E called Miss M to “Come see this cute thing Ms. You’ll really love it.”

And I’m thinking, ‘Ahhh, I bet she’s found the old doll pram, or the kid’s display in the other room.’

Me: “Wait there babe. We’re coming. I’ll bring the camera.”

Which is why I have this picture of my kids hugging a dead badger.

Nice.

Good speaking to you on the phone Jo and hearing you are doing really well. Make sure you get lots of rest and build your strength back up again. Good to hear you sounding upbeat.

most excellent. I am sure the badger appreciated the hug, having been dead and stuffed and all. I hope that you are doing as well as he did. Wait, that didn’t sound right. I don’t think your dead or stuffed or anything. I meant that I hope your getting lots of hugs.
    Argh.
I should just quit now, because it probably won’t get better.
