Shannon Matthews Found

The most fantastic news I’ve had in a long time arrived today by way of a phone call from Rosie.

Rosie: “They’ve found little Shannon Matthews, ALIVE.”

Can you believe it?

Having read Akelamalu’s post about the Missing yesterday, it was wonderful to get such amazing news.

I hope Shannon and her family are well supported through the weeks and months to come, and thank God the West Yorkshire Police didn’t forget her, even though
some might say a large proportion of the British media did.

I’ve had a mad day today and am a little sore, I think I might have done a bit too much, so I’m having an early night.

See you all tomorrow.

I know nothing about the story either, but have to say that it’s a joy that she was found ALIVE. How wonderful for her and her family.

Jo, no wonder you’ve overdone it this week, you Party Animal, you! And do keep your eye on the gerbil to make sure ears are intact, etc.

It is fantastic news! I posted my flash 55 yesterday before the news about Shannon being found and guess what – it was about a missing child being found!

I’m concerned though that there’s more to Shannon’s disappearance than first thought – the police have put her into care not let her go home! I’m always suspicious when that happens. :(

AOJ, it’s the best news. I really didn’t think we’d get it. :D

Rosie, Belle, so true. I hope she’s doing ok.

Maria, it’s just such a relief.

Jo, I hope so too. It must have been terrifying and bewildering for her.

    Thalia’s Child, yes. :)

Dan, I think you’re right, but at least she is alive and maybe will get the help she might need now.

    Mie, definitely priceless.

Corey, thanks hon. I’ve been having a bit of a rest and feel loads better. Hugs.

PixelPI, hee hee. Grrrrrr. And all gerbil ears are in tact. ;)

Sybil it’s both isn’t it? I hope she gets the best support to recover from this.

Akela I know. Let’s hope it’s something they can solve without her having to stay in care.
