What city do you belong in?

by Jo Beaufoix on March 24, 2008

I nabbed this from my mate Rosie. She is al posh and Parisian, but actually I am happy with my result as it is very me.

You Belong in London

A little old fashioned, and a little modern.
A little traditional, and a little bit punk rock.
A unique soul like you needs a city that offers everything.
No wonder you and London will get along so well.

What City Do You Belong In?

I really like this, and I’m sure it’s right, I do belong in London, so if anyone wants to buy me a nice London pad complete with butler and David Bowie, that would be lovely.

How’s that for a mix of traditional and punk rock?

Ok, I know, he’s more glam rock perhaps, but he’s so much prettier than Johnny Rotten, and he’s amazing live.

And I nearly met the fabulous Belle today, but it all went a bit wrong. We will do it soon though, and maybe Holl will make it too. Fingers crossed.

Big hugs though Belle, and it was lovely talking to you. xx

What a shame you didn’t meet up.
Funny you should say you belong in London as we are off there today - have I told you that already?!!!
I will look for a London pad for you. I haven’t told you my exciting news - and I’m not being sarcastic this time - for my 35th birthday we are staying in a hotel in MAYFAIR for the weekend. Hooray! I am chic and sophisticated (and still reply on my parents to pay for these things!)
Let me know what you did for your 35th birthday!

Hmmm, weird how you were at school with my OLDER sister. And it’s nice you’re getting a bit of pampering in your dotage, snort.
Seriously though, a hotel in Mayfair, that is so cool.
have a fab holiday sweet.

Girl! It might of worked out well for you, but it told me I fit in New York! I don’t think so. I’m far from a city girl! LOL! But it was fun!
Hope you have a wonderful day!

Hmmm, Kitten, I think that probably just means you are cool, so New York would want you. But you are so cool, you don’t want New York. Now that is cool.

I belong in London too. Then what the heck am I doing in Michigan? I guess it’s the inner me who lives in London!

I did this a while ago and I think I came out as New York. What a shame your meeting didn’t quite happen, are you going to tell us all about it?

9 Jo Beaufoix 03.25.08 at 1:05 pm

PixelPi, if anyone gets me my London pad you can come and stay, in fact, you can have a whole wing to yourself. Ok?

Akela, New York is cool. The meeting, it was a case of my kids being a bit young for travel on a canal, or more, I didn’t want to slow Belle down if M didn’t like it. Also, Belle had to stick to a schedule, so it was going to be too late by the time she got to Notts. Then, we were going to meet this morning but I realised I had a hair appointment and I didn’t want to mess my hairdresser around as she’s a friend and our kids are in school together. I’m so glad I didn’t, as when I got there she was really poorly but had felt too guilty to cancel me, bless her. I’d have felt awful.

We’re hoping we might meet up on the return journey though in a few weeks. Fingers crossed. :D

I love a quiz, but this one got it all wrong. It says I belong in Paris. I belong in New York or London. This I am sure of. Silly quiz.
