Miss M: My making a cake Mummy.
Me: “That’s nice babe.”
Miss M: “But Mummy, dis tiger doesn’t want to be a cake.”
Me: “Oh, well, take him out and we’ll just pretend.”
Miss M: “No. I need him to be a cake, so, he’s a cake.”
Me: “Erm, okaaaaaay.”
Miss M: “Eat it Mummy. Eat dis cake.”
Me: “Erm.”
Miss M: “Eat dis cake or it will bite you.”

Anyone for dessert?
(Miss M’s other ventures into food preparation can be read here and here.)

Hey Jo, she’s got the right idea… sometimes with those cruel vicious animals it’s kill or be killed… She just added a bit of frosting to the equation
Hee hee, you’re right sweet. And I was over at yours when you were at mine. Cool.
I take it Miss M ate the lion’s share?
ooh, it was yummy but I’m still picking the hairs from between my teet
Little Miss Becca is standing here bouncing like mad and giggling over the tiger picture. Apparently she approves Miss M’s foray into haute cuisine.
Love, love how her mind works! Methinks she’ll be a writer/artiste like her mum.
It’s soft and brown…like chocolate cake…cut the kid some slack until she starts shoving live animals in the box.
well nothing chases tiger cake like cow pie! oh crud, you don’t call it that here, do you? (cow pie is actually a little dropping from a cow). (okay it’s not little)
all of that is still WAAAY better than my cooking…
(okay, still suffering lack-of-sleep effects. tomorrow will be better…)
She’s gonna be a telly chef! They make wierd things don’t they?
she’s going to grow up to be a chef of exotic foods…. very highly paid. Maybe she will have to safari for her ingredients
you know what? when she grows up she’s going to make her way in the world just fine.
(i say, world, look out!)h
Hmm, either very imaginative or a bit weird, yes.
