Miss M is off school today. She has conjunctivitis so is a little sore and battered about the eyes but otherwise fine. Just before lunch she tramps into the kitchen wearing Miss E’s flippers, tugs on my arm and clears her throat.
Miss M: “Mummy, where shall my go to get to my swimming?”
Me: “Erm, I think you should go round the kitchen twice, then into the living room.”
She looks at me, puts her hands on her hips, frowns and sighs.
Miss M: “No Mummy. Dat’s not right. You go round de kitchen and den into de living room, and den onto de furniture.”
Me: “Oh right, of course, silly me.”
Blimey that kid takes after her dad.

Heh, these sorts of posts make me miss working in daycare sooo much.
You know, were I to be totally honest, I think I’d admit that I want to meet Miss M nearly as much as I want to meet you someday.
And I am so going to go play with toonlet again now.
