It’s 10.15pm and I’ve just settled Miss M.
Miss E is at a sleepover at her friends where we barbecued tonight, and the post wedding lunch at my mum and dad’s was lovely.
As for the wedding, it was perfect.
No really, it was.
The kids were amazing, the bride and groom gorgeous and smiling and the people really, really lovely.
I couldn’t have wished for a better start for my little bro and my new sis. Here is a little of their wedding dance. I missed the first bit as I was a little tipsy, but I think you get the idea.
I will upload some pics of my little monkeys looking like angels in their dresses soon, but for now I need to sleep. We have another dinner at my mum’s planned tomorrow (leftovers, yum) then Miss E and her friends A and J’s birthday party is on the afternoon.The end of this exhausting weekend is in sight, but part of me just doesn’t want it to be over.
The good thing is that I’ll be able to catch up at last…until next Friday when we go away for almost 2 whole weeks. I soooooo need to get me a laptop, sigghhh. I’m a bit scared abut being away from the t’internet for so long. You won’t forget me will you?
Ha, if you do, I’ll just come and bug you all. I might even send you something squishy and snail like in the mail. Mwah ha ha haaaaa.
Oh, p.s. any comments on the new look will be very welcome. I know some of you are having problems leaving them. You have to click on the page title first and then you can leave them at the bottom as usual. I don’t know if we’ll be able to change this but I’m hoping so. Ta my lovelies.

The template looks nice Jo, but I’ve always found the comment button at the top of the post a little off-putting, you’ve now added a whole new dimension
Seriously, why would anyone put the comment button at the top of the post? You end up at the bottom when you’ve read the post, so that’s where you are, then you have to scroll back up to hit comment button, then you’re taken back to the bottom to comment, strange if you ask me.

so what was it? oh yeah a wedding. niiiiice on the tipsy. one needs tipsy occasionally. can’t see the video because i need a reboot, and i’m sorry, lovely, once the computer gets shut down i’m getting my pre-race sleep. the vid’s *there*, my laptop just doesn’t play them these days after a big photoshop session.
i really like the new look. i was trying to remember to say that earlier, but i don’t think i did. it’s scrummy! oh i see i can use tags. it’s scrummy niiiice.

Glad to hear the wedding was so lovely. Always rather nice when they are not a complete bore. Weddings around here can tend to put you to sleep what with the “no alcohol” and “dancing leads to sex” kind of thoughts. Personally I’m thinking all three sound rather lovely right now. (did I say that out loud?…hmmm, that kind of day I suppose)
They look so happy! And I love the way her dressed shone in the light…~sniff sniff~ I is getting all sappy now.

I won’t forget you if you are busy and away for a while. The new look is BIG. On my monitor anyway. Not sure if that is what you were going for or what, but it looks like you increased all the font sizes quite a bunch. As for other changes, let’s just say I’m one of those folks who easily miss little details, so I apologize if I am missing something important you wanted a comment on.

Erin, LOL. It was definitely not boring. They had this amaing singer in who was fabulous and we just danced all night. It was fantastic.
Kim, it makes me fill up when I watch it. And I’ll still be checking in as my Aunt has internet and has said she doesn;t mind me using it. It will just be occasional you know? Or I’ll feel a bit rude. Still planning to post every day though.

BelleV, ahh thanks. It’s just the design is done on a Mac, whereas I have a common or garden PC so it’s good to know if it’s looking ok everywhere or if there’s anything that needs fixing. On my monitor the titles are big but the rest looks ok. Hope the big stuff isn’t all scary and looming hee hee.
