Be afraid, be very afraid.

Blog

It was a day of intermittent torrential rain. A day of indoor entertainment, havoc reeking monkeys and the occassional squabble. Rosie and I supped tea and coffee, and I blogged a little on her laptop while she did some work. For us it was a shared moment of quiet companionship while the kids played.

Until they discovered Ingenious Junior’s play dough fairies, then it all got a bit scary…

That last sound is Miss M falling over. She was fine, but I am very proud of Rosie and I for not saying the words, “It’ll all end in tears” at any point during this madness.  That’s Rosie on film by the way, I am the fabulous camera person and, erm, director.  Snort.

Oh, and I’ve just had and an email from Argos saying:”Today (23rd August 2008), Argos has launched a gift voucher available to all customers. When Argos customers spend £50 they will receive a £5 voucher and when they spend £100 they will receive a £10 voucher. This promotion is only available until Thursday 26th August. All the customer needs to do is type the code August1 in the appropriate box at the payment screen and they will receive their voucher to redeem next time they shop at Argos.co.uk.”I’ve just had a look and they’ve got some great bargains at the moment, in fact, today I have done a little bit more Christmas shopping as I WILL be organized this year. :D

Oh … were there a lot of tears .. my mother always was ready with the: “this will end badly”, whenever my sister and i played like that .. of course she was right .. yes she was always right.

Oh Jo! I would have tidied my house if I knew it was going to be broadcast on the worldwide web. I love my slightly-going-mad scream at the end. I heard myself say “Don’t trip up! and appear to be mouthing the words “What the ****?”!!!

He he, sometimes if you don’t laugh you cry right Heather? After I picked Miss M up they carried on, it was quite strange.

Kitten, now I have to go and see what a Bodock festival is. Sorry it got rained out.

Mie, we were cool and calm and erm, a bit confused. :D

Daryl, no tears amazingly. I picked M up, gave her a cuddle then off they went again for a few more minutes till I saved Miss M from another possible disaster so Rosie and I put our feet down and stopped it then.

Rosie, I sent it to you too but I bet you were out celebrating your good news. It makes me giggle whenever I watch it and see your face. Hee hee.

Corey, they’re really good together, but two is definitely easier if it’s all the time. :D
