Blog

The creative and fabulous Gattina is our Fun Monday host today and her request is that we show her our blogging space.

I’d love to say that I spend my writing and reading time here…

Or that my view as I blog away to my little heart’s content is this,

laptop_beach.jpg

..or maybe this.

laptop-field.jpg

But let’s face it, that would be a big lie.

No, when I blog, I’m in my kitchen at the family PC surrounded by a ton of, well, stuff.

Proof that I took this this very morning is the fact you can see my muesli bowl, the toys that have been played with so much this holiday (I have given up keeping them tidy), and the empty tank, home of our deceased gerbil, Laura/Flora who passed away on Friday.

I know it looks mad but it works well for me and means I am close to my family and always surrounded by noise and colour.

Oh, and the view from my blogging place is usually kind of special too.

Have a fab day folks and check out all the other Fun Monday blogging spaces over at Writer Cramps. You know you want to, I mean who doesn’t like peeping into other people’s homes?

Oh boy, oh boy….I think that your ‘real’ life of blogging is far better than what you’re dreaming. No, seriously. You can’t have a view like that anywhere but home!! [that photo of her is just too darned precious!!! ---Gotta love it!]

My Fun Monday Blogging Area is posted now if you’d like to take a gander…..stop by. Have a great day.

My space looks like that sometimes, but I don’t have the excuse of a child making the “stuff.” Oops. :)

Never room for mum among all the children’s stuff. I bet you have to shoehorn yourself in there – on the plus side, no one would even know you’re there so you could hide away for a couple of hours/minutes.

Love it! I think it’s the perfect place right in the middle of chaos because the best blogging comes from chaos, right? That’s why I like my desk in the middle of my house where I’m surrounded by everyone. Sometimes makes it hard to concentrate (like right now with my daughter nattering in my ear about something orange and slimy whilst her stuffed animals smother me with kisses and I try and remember what word comes next in my sentence so it all makes sense…gak!). Thanks for the glimpse into your space. I love seeing other peoples’ spaces.

Just as it should be! If you were really in the first two pictures, blogging away, I’d have to stop reading, in fear of your perfection. The counter next to me right now has a little aquarium, a bottle of water (big), a printer, loads of paper piles, a box of kleenex, a cheese grater, a camera, a glass of water, a baby monitor and a remote. And it’s a very small space.

That was a very clever intro. I was thinking “wow” wish that were my house. And the beach photo was enticing as well. I have a little messy place to blog which I share with my hubby. It is my daughter’s old bedroom, now a guitar and amplifier room.

Hahaha … you definitely had me sucked in (#2 COULD be me if I was willing to walk a block and a half with my computer and chair to the sand)… feeling embarrassed about MY cluttered workspace … and I’m so relieved to see what your space REALLY looks like. Very cleverly executed post! Mine’s up at Small Reflections.
    Hugs and blessings,

that looks like a well loved blogging space. I blog from my couch, and frankly, it would be a very boring picture. I did put up pictures of my kitchen, today, though. So lets pretend I blog from there…
love the shoes on the little one……

I love your very creative post. It’s good to stay in the thick of things and blog where your young fashionistas hang out for sure. My little one bedroom is very easy to keep tidy because #1 it’s tiny, #2 it’s only my husband and I to make a mess. I’m in a totally different stage of life than you. enjoy your little ones and your space :0)

Oh! You had me in that first photo–about to get a bad case of blogspot envy and then I could see where you MAY be going with your story! Agree about the beautiful view from your blogspot. Why do they get these fetishes for adult shoes/socks? Those boots are quite fashionable.
