Today is a very special day.
It’s a Thursday.
And what’s so good about that you ask?
Well it’s not just any old Thursday. It’s Thursday 23rd October 2008 and it’s the birthday of somebody kind of fabulous.
I never imagined that when I started this blog I would make such good friends. I have, there are loads of you, but I have been lucky enough to meet two of them in real life, the fabulous warm and witty Miss Belle and another person whose talents I will list below before I present her to you.
1. She is the only person I know who knows almost everything about everything. Seriously people, this girl has a brain.
- You have a sick partridge? Ask her.
- Need information on growing and cooking rare vegetables and miniature sports personalities? She will know.
- After advice on how to handle rabid jellyfish while clog dancing in a vat of crushed grapes, look no further.
2. She can run to the moon and back before you can say peripatetic egg plant incinerator.
3. She once snogged the Hoff.
4. She is part mermaid.
So who is she, this hero among women, this fount of knowledge this creator of the finest Pimms and Red Bull this side of Cardiff?
As if you haven’t guessed…
Here she is depicted by Miss E

And here is the woman herself.

And this is a little gift for her from Miss M.
Apparently it is, erm, milk. It must be the warm stuff they get at school because no milk I give her has blue, green and brown floaters. And I have no idea why she drew milk for Holly except for that she likes milk and therefore everybody else should as that’s what 3 year olds think. Anyway, Holl is quite lucky just to get mouldy looking milk. I was kind of expecting her to draw Holl a trump sandwich if I’m honest, but she’s probably saving that for Monday when we’re planning to dance on Shakespeare’s grave and do other fun stuff.
So, love you Holl, happy birthday my sweet and can’t wait to see you. Mwah.
P.S. I took a photo of my make up free mouth making a kissy pose to put here but it looked far too much like a dog’s bottom for my liking so I decided to leave it out.

I don’t know Holly, but I’ll wish her a happy birthday since she is so important to you and Miss E and Miss M. It’s a shame you gave her such a tiny body, because now I will always think of her as Tiny Holly, or is that what you meant for me to think?
i’m okay with being tiny holly.
these are the things i love:
the phrase “peripatetic egg plant incinerator.”
i have great boobs and butt in this drawing. thank you.
speckly milk. i actually drink speckly milk for greater stronger bones and teeth.
