Don’t you think it’s weird…

..that when you buy a small child something new that they don’t need to try on…

..they have to wear it straight away?

But when you need them to model a certain piece of attire…

..like say, a shepherd’s outfit for the school nativity play…

…you have absolutely no chance.
Sighhhh.
At least Miss M really likes her new pjs. The hat, the gloves on her feet, and the boots on her hands I cannot explain, so I will choose to ignore them ok?
Good.
Oh, and I have a post in the lovely Potty Mummy’s Best of British Mummy Bloggers Carnival. There is some really great writing there if you’re interested in what the British Isles have to offer. Seriously, you’ll love it.

It is unbearably frustrating to watch a small child dress herself wrong side up. It just makes me squirm all over. How will she possibly dress herself in the shepherd with crook outfit? Are you going to stand by and laugh while she does that? I hope not. Please take a picture of her dressed in her pajamas properly, so i know she got it right eventually. Just to settle my mind.

I didbt realize til you pointed it out that she had mittens on her feet .. or the boots on her hands .. in fact from the way she’s bent over I thought the boots WERE on her feet.
I suspect very shortly that there will be many of her peers doing the same .. she is definitely a trend setter like Kate Moss… lets hope her taste in men is better

Ha, in my house they’ll wear the clothes for 5 minutes and then throw them in the dirty laundry before trying on a new outfit. No wonder I get behind on laundry!

Oh my, I have to say that shepherd’s outfit is so darling!
And I don’t dare find more British bloggers I adore. I check flight prices often enough as it is (and then pout and despair and whatnot). =)

i do think, though, in fairness, that the pink pj/red wellies combo is more appealing than shepherds wear. perhaps if you got a goat to go alongside that one she might be more inclined to have a go?
