Can’t stop, I’m off to see Will Young with my mate Rosie. I feel slightly embarassed as although I think he’s a great singer, a lovely man and kind of cute, he’s not really my cup of tea music wise. I’ve always been a bit of an indie kid myself. Mr B is mocking me as I write this (he is not a fan), but last year my lovely friend went all by herself and I couldn’t let her do it again.
We are catching the bus to Notts so we can imbibe of some fine ales. I will let you all know what a fabulous time we had tomorrow. (Sounds like I can see into the future doesn’t it?)
I am such a ‘dirty little stop out’ at the moment as I was out last night at La Tasca in Sheffield with some fab friends. I seem to remember describing my brother-in-law-to-be as a salty seamen which sounded very very wrong, hee hee (he’s a captain on a yacht), but otherwise I think I was quite well behaved. I’m not making any promises about tonight though.
This was him in Pop Idol a few years ago. I did vote for him and I loved this version.

I went to London on Wednesday to hear Tilly perform this song at the fortieth anniversary of Afasic. She was fab and I have to say she did an even better version than Will’s … though I may be biased

Nice! Yay for good music, whether it makes our personal top ten list or not, eh? Have fun!

I have just given Mr B. the address of a good divorce lawyer.

Belle I bet it was absolutely gorgeous. She’s a very talented young lady. Hugs xx
Kim, yes, nothing beats a good live band. It was cool actually.
Akela we did. He has some mad fans. They were hurling stuff on the stage and demanding kisses, and that was just the girlies.
Don Millls Diva, definitely.
Susan it’s that time of year isn’t it. I’ve had a couple of really great nights though. I have the best mates.
Jen I love it. I hope you get to use it, hee hee.
Napoleon, how rude, heh heh. I couldn’t let my mate go all by herself could I? And anyway, we quite fancy him.
(me and Rosie, not me and Mr B)
Grae didn’t dare tell you all on Saturday. Snort.
