Miss M has a friend over this afternoon and all is going well. I can’t write much today though as on her second day at school my little niece has fallen and bumped her head and been taken to hospital with a possible concussion. She’s been violently sick and is struggling to stay awake so we’re all pretty worried. Please send her good thoughts and prayers and hopefully I’ll be able to read later once I know how she is.
I actually just feel sick right now. She’s only 4 and starting school has been a very big thing for her. As you might remember ‘Cousin ME’ has had a few difficulties already so life isn’t easy at the best of times. I just know she’ll be very scared and overwhelmed.
And now I have to go and hug my kid.

I had a concussion somewhere around that age, and I managed to scrape it together. She comes from good, tough family stock and will be okay. I know she will. I am sending her happy vibes from California…
