Me:  ”What song do you want me to sing before you sleep babe?”

She turns her big brown eyes to me and smiles a slow, sleep filled smile.

Miss M:  ”Whoops my did it again, I played with your heart, lost in a rain, oh baby baby…”

Me:  ”No M, you need to pick a sleep time song. That’s a wake up song sweetheart.”

Miss M: “Well, can I sing dat song to my E in de morning den?”

Me:  ”Snort, she might not thank you for it babe, but you can if it’s not too early.”

Roll over Britney.

I can’t decide if that would be more irritating than my alarm clock that sounds like a rooster. I’m pretty sure Britney would be worse.

And Ms E must be just about the same age Britney was when she had that hit.

I love waking up to Britney, yet the restraining order does make it trickier now.

I can relate – we went on an elephant safari in Africa recently and the very nice man who drove our elephant was extremely sweet to Four and sang ‘Nellie the Elephant’ as we rode along and then asked her if she had any favourite songs to sing to him – suggesting, perhaps, ‘Hakuna Matata’ or similar.
She said she did have a best song and launched gustily into “Apple Bottom Jeans and the Boots with the FURRRR.. The Whole Club was lookin’ at HURRR.. She hit the FLO’, Nex thing ya KNO’..Shorty got LOW LOW LOW LOW LOW LOW LOW”.
I think our girls would get along.

i am thinking of starting a campaign “bring less britney into the world.”

if we have our way, m would have just committed a felony.

    i wouldn’t tell anyone, it’s okay.

but *other* kids. i would so send them to the time-out stairs without supper.

Britney in the morning would definitely warrant a slap to the head. For a sister, I mean. :)
Come to think of it, Britney anytime would warrant a slap to pretty much anyone!

ROFL!! That’s hilarious! My oldest always wants me to sing that particular song when we do SingStar. Somewhat humiliating :)
