Annie Lennox has recently covered a song by a band I used to love called Ash. It’s a kind of uplifting song and I thought I’d give it you tonight because I can’t write. I want to, but I can’t.
As well as the worries over Miss M there are other things happening that I can’t talk about right now and it’s so hard. I want to tell you. I want to share because it’s filling my head, bursting to come out, but it’s not just about me, or about my life, it’s bigger than that and because of that I can’t ‘unburden’ myself, which let’s face it, that’s what it would be. Selfish right? But sometimes you have to be don’t you?
I’m really struggling to find my happy right now. It pops up every now and then, but when I sit down and face my keyboard it deserts me. So I’ll leave you with this song, because it’s gorgeous, and sweet and it reminds me of happier times.

What a beautiful song, luv. And perfect – as misery and stresses aside, you yourself are a shining light. Hope life events don’t prevent you from finding your happy for much longer. ~hugs~

Well this doesn’t sound too good! Speaking of how things sound, I can’t see any song, though it must be around somewhere because Kimberly heard it! Hmmmm.

Jo you know I wish nothing but the best for you and all of yours, and though you’re not in the happy right now, I believe you will be i the happy again. And I hope very, very soon. And I could hear the song, too

HUGE ANnie fan here. And whereas that is a very nice version, the first version I heard was Annie’s, which has been in my head since I heard it and has generally made my life better as a result. FANTASTIC song. Thank you, Ash, for making a song that Annie rocked the house with.

Have just been catching up on the last few days. Don’t know what to say, really, except I think pics of David T will do you more good than Googling medical things.
You’ll get through this.

I am sorry to have been away for a bit; just catching up now. What a time you are going through. But remember, just like 1974 didn’t last forever, neither will these worrisome times. Take care of yourself; my thoughts are with you and yours.
