Treading Water

Blog

Today a little glimmer of light flashed at the end of the tunnel. Thanks to the support from so many very, very special people who I respect and care about so much both in the real world and blog land, (Thank you everybody, you’re amazing),  I’m feeling a whole lot better today.  Last night was the lowest I’ve been in a long time, so this morning I did some positive, practical things and had some long and emotional talks with people who matter to me.  I feel relieved.  Still scared, still nervous but hopeful.

I really wanted to enjoy writing tonight.  Like most of us bloggers it’s something I love, and although I’ve needed to write about my feelings here, it’s not been ‘fun’ writing and I am in so need of some fun. So when I peeped at my Mint page to see who arrived at Chez Beaufoix today, I was thrilled to see that google had brought me a visitor by way of the search…… ‘constipated butt smells?’.

Because well, I laugh at such things.

I also giggled at the other results on the same page which included such phrases as;

  • Pooping Health:  Ask The Poodiatrist
    (Snort.  Poodiatrist.)
  • EEWW My breath smells like my BUTT!
    (Erm, that’s not good.  Maybe you should see a poodiatrist.)

    and

  • Help!  Poop sticks to cat’s butt!
    (Erm, see a vet, and clean it.)

Though frankly this one is a little worrying,

  • ‘Water Bubbling out my Cats Butt for 3 days’.

Hmmmmm.

So, thank you random googler.  You put a smile on my face and gave me silly blog fodder.  I hope you sorted your little problem.

 Tonight I plan on sleeping, as tomorrow I have stuff to do that will affect the rest of my life.  But at least now I have a plan.

Oh, and there are two other things that made me smile today…

..my own little Stinkerbells.

    I know I haven’t been commenting but I have been keeping up with your posts. Glimmers are always good and so are plans. Keeping everything crossed that tomorrow is OK, and you make good decisions.

    sorry about all those searches. I was really really bored, and i wanted new and innovative ways of finding you.

    next spate of searches will include at least one instance of the word “booger” combined with the phrase “cow pie”, which, where i’m from is
    a) not edible;
    b) not a pie.

    I am glad that there is light at the end of the tunnel, even if it is just a glimmer. At least there is hope and hope means a future that you can imagine. It’s hard to keep believing in something that is difficult to get, but you must not give up hope. There are always sunnier days around the corner.

    (((HUGS))) What you’re going through isn’t easy and try not to beat yourself up about feeling down about it xx

    I thought some of those search terms were hilarious! I once had ‘husband eats poo’ pop up on mine – god knows how my blog showed up – LOL!

    So what’s the Mint account your using? I’ve not heard of it, can you send me the link. It sounds better than what I’m using.

    Your path with those wonderful stinkerbells is always going to be a positive one, even if some of its meanderings will be sad, tough and frustrating.

    This post made me smile, but based on general content, that could be wind ;-)
