Discovery of the day…
I always new that that fake sword would come in handy. Thanks to its plastic pointyness the space beneath Miss E’s bed it is now clear of debris. There are no Barbie shoes, bouncy balls, high school musical postcards or socks. It’s amazing sighhhh.
The ‘For Sale’ board went up today. It’s weird. Very weird. Tomorrow my brothers and Dad will pull up at our house at 10.30ish with a large van as we are moving the heavy furniture to the new house.
Misses E and M are spending the day with Daddy and Grandma, then coming up to my mum’s house for a ‘holiday.’ We can’t actually move into the house till Thursday as there is plaster drying and a new carpet due to go down.
As you might have seen from yesterday’s post I am on a roller coaster of emotions. We all are. I’m so glad I have so many good friends to keep me going, and I count you among them. My mate’s Rosie, Ju, Dez and Nic are being especially amazing which is mad as Ju and Dez are in New Zealand, but they seem to ring or email just when I need it most.
All in all I’m a lucky girl/lady. I just need to focus on that and keep my chin up.

Ah thanks for the mention, Jo. We will all be thinking of you tomorrow. It’s the start of a new and improved chapter in your life. Despite the stress and emotions, don’t forget that. Phone/text/email/shout if you need to.

Hi Jo,
Keeping up with you on your amazing blogs just thought I’d let you know that I thing you’re doing great, just keep taking each day as it comes. I’m sure that everything will work out for you all.
Just thought I’d let you know you are on my mind a lot and I know that you will let me know if I can help you.
You must let me know what your new address will be.
Perhaps if Mr B or yourself can let us know how we can keep in touch with him too – if he would like that. Darren still needs to pay him for the cricket ticket and they will need to arrange where they are going to met up etc.
Anyway, I will stop waffling now and let you get back to your beautiful girls.
Lots of love to you all

You are being an amazing tower of strength. Draw on all the love and support of EVERYONE you can. You can do it. Of course it will be tough. It’s the end of an era and full of emotional landmines. But you can do it. It’s not supposed to be easy…but you will get through it and all be happier for it in the long run. You just need to remember that and keep putting one foot in front of the other one day at a time.
Love and big hugs
xx

I’ve been lurking, but haven’t had much time to say “I’m thinking of you”

This moving out and moving into a new house is probably going to be the hardest thing you have to do. So don’t underestimate it, but don’t forget it either. Things will get a bit easier after this adjustment. This is the hard work.
I wish you a lot of strength and luck and all good things, because a lot depends on you now. You have to be very strong for a while and keep your chin up for the sake of the children, while they go through the adjustment. Make sure you get lost of help from your family and friends to help you make the transition.
