Snail on a wall
Snail on a wall
It’s good you’re all sticky
Or else you might fall

Where are you heading?
Where will you stop?
Going down to the bottom?
Or up to the top?

It’s kind of a mystery
We can’t comprehend
‘Cos you’re halfway to nowhere
Which is a blumming long way for a molluscan gastropoda to go unless he knows there’s an enormous great picnic basket full of mouth watering snail delicacies, or at least a couple of tickets for The Wiggles live…at the end.

I have no idea why the spacing went like that at the end...I blame the snail, I'm seeing disappointment somewhere in that snail's future, pets, poems, poetic interlude?, Really where was it going?

Ahhh thanks Sabdi. I was in a daft mood last night and we really did wonder where it was going. I mean, there is nothing on top of that wall. It’s a long way to go for nothing. Sometimes that’s just life though right?

I had a snail trail out back that showed a snail had gone on a completely senseless journey by traveling in a loop on the concrete tiles going nowhere. What a waste of time and effort. They don’t have the sense that God gave them, or at least, they don’t use it. It seems like a live of drudgery, to be a snail, Most of your time is spent on surfaces that hold no interest and have no food nor the prospects of it at the end of it. And then you get some good spinach and get eaten.
