NOT sick.

Hooray.

And even though it rained today, we had guests, had fun and managed to get half the roof down and work out how we would get the rest down.  And it was all going so well until…

Me and the boy went for our monthly (ish) trim on Friday, not sure our haircuts were as accurately proportional as this. (And we weren’t even offered the beard – how rude)

Single handedly cutting ones hair seems to be a favorite of all kids and they always do it in the most awkward way that is very difficult to fix. I think you may make something of tis yet, Jo, all is not lost. You could give her a very short pixie and pretend she is Tinker bell. Don’t you just love kids and the surprises they spring on you. Those adorable little human beings!

Hey, it will grow back and meanwhile if you dont want to try to even it out.. buy some cute barrettes and clip back the hacked off bits .. than hide the scissors!

Oh no – although looks like it could be rescued with a short fringe?!

I had a friend whose daughter chopped her entire fringe down to little spiky bits the day before she was due to be a bridesmaid.

SPD, (fellow rebel), I have to admit I was slightly proud, hee hee. But I think I hid it fairly well. ;D

Corey and mine. Scarily I saw the hair in the bin first and thought, “Oh my Bob what am I going to see?” :D

Sybil, yep, that’s why I had to act all mad. It could have been her eyeball. Ouch.

Karisma, yep, my kid can cut hair at four. Send Zak over.

Dumdad, it had better not be gone again tomorrow. ;D

Gossamer Woman I do. :D And it’s not too bad with a hair slide in.

Daryl that’s what I’ve done. And the scissors are out of reach. They were in my room which is out of bounds when she has friends round, but she rebelled. :D

Laura that is bad, hee hee. I used to love cutting stuff as a kid though, so I totally get the attraction. I once scalped a Barbie doll.

Modern Mother, there’s still time my dear, hee hee.

Kim, yep, not bald is good, but the Beatles look just isn’t her. :D
