According to Miss E I need to send you all to memoryerasing.com as I used part of Miss M’s real name in yesterday’s post. It’s gone now, but it is something I try to avoid so I’m a little peeved with myself. I blame it on a migraine and blumming hormones. (As usual.)
Miss E has had a busy day singing for 3 hours in 2 shows at the Nottingham Albert Hall.

It was fab and I managed to capture one of the songs her group performed…
Sadly my little monkey is currently at our local out of hours doctors with a really bad ear ache. It’s 10pm and her appointment was at 9.45pm so I’m hoping she’ll be home soon and I’ll finally be able to settle her down to sleep. Miss M is in the land of nod and has also been a star today watching her big sister. She had a little dance, stared at the man next to me who sang along annoyingly to half the songs, then she fell asleep on her Daddy’s knee for most of the second performance.
UPDATE
Miss E is back with antibiotics for an ear infection, poor babe. I’m so proud as even with a bad ear she battled on and sang so well – because yes I could hear her voice amongst that throng, honest.
She’s all cosy and snug in her bed now and I have meds lined up in case she needs them through the night. Fingers crossed she’ll get some sleep. Ok, fingers crossed I will too. (Bad Mummy.)

There’s nothing bad about wanting some sleep!
It is wonderful to hear children sing – my young ‘un just did recently with school (and loads of other schools!) at the Guild Hall in Preston. Fabulous stuff and great experience for him. And of course you could pick her voice out of that throng! I could too with my boy. That’s being a mum.
Hope she is soon better.

Hugs to both of you. Hope she recovers quickly. There is not much worse than an ear infection. So painful. Poor little one.

Not at all Bad Mummy. Sensible Mummy.

Good health to you both.
No worries on the slip… no one would have noticed probably

What’s this ‘bad mummy’ nonsense?
Hope Miss E is feeling better this morning, and you all had a reasonable night’s sleep.

That is so sweet!
And there is NOTHING wrong with mummy getting sleep – how else to be a great mummy?!

Bad mummy – you most certainly are not! Hope the infection clears up soon.

That was a wonderful performance. Sadly, I don’t know what Miss E’s voice sounds like, so I couldn’t distinguish it from the others. But it was very well done.
I hope her ear infection gets better soon and that she’ll feel like her old self again in no time. I’ve only had one in my whole life, but I know they are awful.
Tell her congratulations on the great performance and to get better soon.

Did you cry when they sang? I always cry when children sing, even if they’re not my own
