Blog

I can’t write.

Seriously, I think someone squidged my brain out of my ear, rinsed it out, put it through one of those old fashioned clothes wringers and then hung out to drip dry in the cool night air.

If you listen very carefully you might hear it flapping.

Flap flap flap

See.

Help.

It’ll be dry by the morning and then you can put it back in your head – I think you’ll find it works much better by then.

Some days your brain just rebels against writing. Just like some days it rebels against speaking. Pay it no mind. It will process the written word again soon. In the meantime, enjoy the airing out and the freshness left behind.

I’m glad I found you since my computer exploded along with new blogger friends’ links and bookmarks and I’ve been w/out internet and out of blogland for a few months. Having to rely on my memory is a bit like flapping, hehe.

Well, I hear this descriptive piece of yours flapping far beyond your clothesline all the way into the agitations of my mind! That’s some darn good flapping! You may want more to come forth, but giving your imagination a rest, will surely spawn some interesting posts to come. :)
(BTW, I can’t remember whose email addresses I found to explain that I did not have a “private” blog, was locked out of mine, computer crashed, etc and am the same artist/writer “Gel.” So, if this is a repeat message, I am not nagging you, just maxed out on to-do lists and cross-checking them.

When you pop by this new blog, there’s an explanation on the first post “You’ve Got a Friend” along with a painting of a doggie who wanted to flap and play… So good to have found you again!
