Miss M: ”Wouldn’t it be funny if you started off big and den got smaller?
Me: ”Yeah that would be funny babe.”
Miss M: ”So, my would be bigger than you, and you would be getting little. You would have to sit on my knee.”
Me: ”Yep. That would be really funny. You’re so clever M.”
And I’m thinking, ‘Bugger. Why didn’t she come up with this a couple of years ago. We could have made a mint. Sighhhhhh.’
***Late addition***
Thanks Mie, for pointing out that my child is in fact a conduit for a long dead literary genius. I mean I only did ONE English Degree, so it’s ok that I didn’t know that…

I hate to tell you this, but she is channeling Ernest Hemingway, who wrote that story long, long, LONG ago.
Let me know if she starts drinking, and has an affinity for five toed cats, would ya?

LOL! Yeah and she probably would have made the story a bit shorter too!

Yeah, she does come up with the most outrageous ideas. What goes on in that head of hers?

Oh my God Mie that is hilarious. She definitely has a thing for cats. Who’d have thought it? My child is a conduit for a long dead literary genius. I am so proud.
Karisma definitely. There’d have been a board book edition.
Irene she’s a loon, but I love it.

Hemingway rocked it. Keep her away from the booze!!
However, any time she wants to go to Key West, I’m all over it.

Sybil, if we ever make it there I’ll let you know babe.
Sandy, I’ll try. I bet they’d do a fabulous version with dogs or gerbils or something.

It sounds a hell of a lot better than the long boring rubbish we’ve got on at cinema’s at the mo!
Quick, sign her up before we all die of boredom or numb bums!!!

I think she should write her own version regardless. Knowing to some small degree how her mind works, I think it would be vastly entertaining!
