Delightful Delousing

Blog

Tonight we are delousing.  Or is it delicing? Or denitting?

Anyway, that’s what we’re doing tonight.  Misses E and M are done, now there’s just me.  I bought a new super ‘bashemonthebonceandbrainemgood’ nit comb from Schmesco today as the one we had kept going all bendy and sticking in their little heads which did not make for happy nit picking – not that there can be such a thing but you know what I mean.

So while I go and tackle my own silken tresses (snort), I would really love you to click on the picture below and vote for an extremely cute 4 year old who really needs to be the face of Kinder.   (Even if his dad is a bit of a cheeky git.)

Eeeek! Amber had about 3 ft long hair and got the nits ‘dreadful’. Spent weeks getting it out!!! In fact, so distraught was I, I have never forgotten it!

Hope your lot has shorter mops!

Eeew, lice. And what an interesting combination of topics…delousing and Kinder. Here they call it KinderBueno. Not sure why as not a ton of people here speak Spanish, but there ya go.

I am very fortunate and have never had to do that, but nowadays it seems to happen more and more with school aged children. Good luck getting rid of them. Wash all the bedding really well. And the towels and whatever else has been in contact with your hair. Sorry you have to go through this and it probably won’t be the last time.

Just got my last post up buddy – I’m quitting for now but will visit occasionally so you don’t get rid of me that easily. :)

What’s the latest nit killing stuff? It used to be Derbac soap and lotion when I was a kid. My head’s itching again now!

Ooooh no— I recall some kids in my school getting them when I was a kid, and my mother made me sit far away and wear my hair in tight braids so I wouldn’t catch them too! Good luck!
