Blog

I was going to post this yesterday.  After a fab weekend with a visit from my wonderful friend Zerilda and her family, my two monkeys were to spend Sunday and Bank Holiday Monday with Daddy, but at 8pm Mr B phoned saying Miss M wanted to come home, and as I knew we had two very tired girls we went for it.  So instead if posting this, I lay beside my children until we all fell asleep, then I awoke shivering at 1am, had a quick wash and crawled into bed.

Mr B picked them up an hour ago and I’ve been sitting having a croissant and a coffee and catching up (snort) on some cheesy TV, before I remembered I needed to post.  So when you read this imagine it’s yesterday ok?

Thanks.

Ready?

Today I am here….

You worked it out right?

Baby + Shower.  (Oh my Bob I should so have been on ‘Catchphrase’ and yes that is a tiny Miss M.)

One of my bezzie mates Miss Lucy, she of the hen weekend in Bath, cool wedding and cakey birthday, is having her first little munchkin in about 5 weeks time, so today we’re heading to The Larder for good food and a lovely chat about all things baby and girlie and foody and winey and, well, you get my drift right?

I love Nottingham (as you my know), and the Larder is in Hockley, a very cute, kind of arty part of the city centre.  It will be a bit of a reunion to last year’s hen weekend, and folks are coming from Newcastle, London, Birmingham and places inbetween so it should be a lovely lovely day.

So think of me as you go about your business, and I’ll do my best to have a lovely time.  It will be a trial but I’m sure I will rise to the challenge.  ;D

Don’t speak of babies! I’m well past them. I think I’m not even having grand babies anymore. Have a jolly old time oohing and aahing over those cute little clothes and all the nice toys. I remember those crazy days.
