I was going to do a mixed bag post today but I have run out of time so it’s bullet points ‘kay?
- I am going to a Beer Festival in Nottingham tonight
- A band playing there is called Tree Beard – I am not sure if they are trees that have beards, or if they are some strange cult who put beards on trees, or trees on beards
- I may drink a few beverages
- It’s with my mates Nic and Tim and Tim is once more giving up his bed for us
- Tim has the tidiest wardrobe I have ever seen I will get photos
- My mate Nic got recognised at Uni by a nice lady called Lola who reads my blog. I was so excited and chuffed. Hi Lola, (waving).
- I need to tell you about the dream image that woke me up this morning and made me laugh my head off. I will tell you tomorrow.
- There may be drunken ramblings later on if my Googlephone lets me, though I suspect it may not.
- And that is all.

Hate to break it to you but I fear your band may have called themselves ‘Tree Beard’ in honour of a character in The Lord of the Rings rather than because they have beards resembling trees. Or maybe it’s just me who’s the anorak, and they do, in fact, have a set populated by trees with beards…

It’s very weird knowing someone so well (ex-husb, children, medical conditions, what you did last night) and yet not knowing you at all. And then knowing someone a bit who knows you properly for real.
I hope it makes you feel a little bit like a celebrity! But not too much otherwise you’d have to hire security.

I need to hear more about these bearded trees… (I’m hoping it wasn’t a LOTR reference and actually involved giant beard-pinning tree cultists cause that sounds loads more fun…)
