I never really believed in love at first sight before…

Lust – yes.
Like – yes.
I mean, aside from that basic physical attraction, I think it is possible to pick up a vibe, a feeling. You know, a twinkle in the eye, a certain character about the face, the way the hair sticks up wildly in a slightly Einsteinian way and the fact they just sniff your hand rather than bite it.
But love??
Then I met Mr Z…

Oooooooohhhhh, he’s such a little tufty haired baby. And he’s so tame and cuddly and inquisitive. The thing is, I wasn’t planning on getting a rabbit – ever. I only went in to get gerbil food. Tsk. Hormones may be kicking in again. Or maybe it’s because my mates Lu and Pod had a beautiful baby boy yesterday.
Hooooooooraaaaaaaaaaaaaay. (Doing the happy dance again.)
I am so going to get me some baby cuddles soon. But I’m going to get bunny cuddles sooner. E and M think he’s lovely. I think he’s mine. Shhhhhh. Don’t tell.

You are a braver woman than me. My two are clamouring for a rabbit but I have resisted up until now. Do tell me what the cuddles are like though!! xx

oh he’s so cute!
I still see kittens and sigh at their cuteness, but then I come home to my three, full grown meows and remember what they grow into! Between dogs, cats and fish, my dance card is full. But that fluffy bunny sure does give me thoughts!

Aww, cute! I’m presuming it’ll be living in some sort of hutch and therefore also comes with the added bonus of not ruining the sofa with bodily fluids or chucking its toys all over the living room. Rabbits for the win!

Very, very, very cute! Although my sister had a rabbit which looked just like this when she got him. He grew into an enormous thing who tried to hump the other pets and repeatedly escaped into neighbours’ gardens to do untold damage to their lawns and plants. He was still cute in a big, fat uncontrollable type of way.

It was love at first sight for me and Neil you know, honest. Would say something about rabbits but that wouldn’t be right. xx

Oooh so fluffy and cute like a powder puff. You could make a cool kid rabbit hutch http://www.peoniesandpolaroids.com/2009/10/rabtz.html

I’m hoping that PD’s absent father guilt will mean all rabbit / gerbil type pets are at his house!
Yes, your’s looks cute, but they scare me!

The girls all have bunnies, turtles and snakes, etc., in their school classrooms and that’s good enough for me.
But this does remind me of a story: Fiona (4) was telling me about the black and white bunny (that wanders around loose, BTW) that she had in her classroom and I asked her what its name was. “We don’t know what its real name is, so we call it Oreo”.

Don’t do that! I’m full of baby-angst these days, and you nearly had me rushing out to buy a rabbit.
Seriously – amazingly cute rabbit you have there.

Cute!!! I am allergic to rabbits, otherwise I would want to squeeze him.
I have friends who had a baby yesterday (Oct 12) too! A little boy—they named him Jonah.

But Jo, that cute little bunny has to sit in a cage all day long and have a very boring life and then be manhandled by two eager little children. You don’t want bunnies to have that kind of life, do you? Why don’t you get a kitten?

Careful of those hormones *wink*
Adorable!

Ooooh yes. I’m assuming those eyes are red because of the flash, not because he is sweet on the outside but possessed by horrible evil demons on the inside.
