Miss M is sick.
No, she is SICK.
VERY SICK.
In fact her ’sickness’ is proportionate to the amount of washing I have done today.
So she is:
- 1 Miss M
- 3 duvets
- 3 duvet covers
- 3 pillowcases
- 1 sleeping bag
- 3 sheets
- 1 cuddly dog
- 1 cuddly seal
- 1 furry pink heart cushion
- 2 pairs of pyjamas
- 1 nightshirt
- 1 pair of Mummy’s leggings
- 1 of Mummy’s hoodies
- 1 Mummy
- 1 rug
- 1 carpet
- 5 towels
SICK.
If her sickness was a graph it would look like this…

If it were a pie chart it would look like this…

And if it were a dog it would look like this:

Sighhhhhh.
So to entertain her Miss E has been making up daft sentences on the Innocent Smoothie Website. Several of them have involved the words ‘puke’ and ‘gross’ and ’smells disgusting’.
Aren’t big sisters fabulous??

Poor hun! And poor mummy! I can deal with it but vomit is definitely my least favourite part of being a parent.

She's been so ill Kerry but is tons better now. Unfortunately E and I are feeling a bit rough so we'll have to see how we are tonight. Am hoping it's nothing.
November 2nd, 2009 at 1:59 pm
I nearly choked on my drink at that last photo!!
Sorry she’s so sick and hope she feels better soon.
November 3rd, 2009 at 8:21 pm
Thanks Ella. She's loads better now thank Bob. It's been a bit of a nightmare though.
November 2nd, 2009 at 2:01 pm
They say that dogs look like their owners don’t they? so is that yours or Ian’s? I can’t quite tell.
Hope she feels better soon. Our kids refuse to be sick in buckets or the toilet, and insist on being sick on a towel. It is a pain in the arse.
November 2nd, 2009 at 2:21 pm
It was the last picture that convinced me :O
I hope she’s all better really soon.
x

Thanks lovely. She's loads better today. I'm still washing though. Nightmare.
November 2nd, 2009 at 3:07 pm
As the eldest child in my family, it seemed as though my younger brother and sister were CONSTANTLY sick. I used to refer to them as “sicklings” whever they came down with something. We older sisters need to keep our heads about us, and sometimes that means humor and sarcasm.
November 3rd, 2009 at 8:26 pm
I agree. I was an older sister to two brothers as well as a younger sister. Sarcasm was definitely needed. My brothers were 'sicklings' too in taht they both had asthma and allergies and bronchitis etc. They're pretty healthy now but still have asthma at times.
November 2nd, 2009 at 3:07 pm
I think I will be having nightmares about the dog, not the sick. That is on scarey pooch!!
November 3rd, 2009 at 8:28 pm
Isn't it? Yet the puke was scarier
November 2nd, 2009 at 3:32 pm
That’s very sick! I didn’t realize a kid could be that sick. I hope she feels better soon before you wear out the washing machine.
November 3rd, 2009 at 8:31 pm
Oh they can be, and it is a very scary thing.
November 2nd, 2009 at 3:39 pm
I’m just so impressed that, despite poorly child (get well soon Miss M) and that mountain of washing, you have the technical prowess to represent the problem as a bar graph, pie chart and in dog form. Respect.
November 3rd, 2009 at 8:33 pm
Hee hee, I needed something to cheer me up. M was on my knee cuddling and snoozing while I typed. The sick bin was by my side just in case but luckily it was not needed.
November 2nd, 2009 at 3:46 pm
I can’t believe you drew a graph and a pie chart to show the sickness levels! It’s almost as bad as Single Parent Dad and his half term Excel spreadsheet. Almost.
Hope she’s feeling better soon x
November 3rd, 2009 at 8:34 pm
Snort, and I dissed him so much for that spread sheet. ;D
She's loads better now thanks hon. Back to being a fiend.
November 2nd, 2009 at 4:09 pm
Very funny post. Hope she gets better soon.
November 3rd, 2009 at 8:35 pm
Thanks MWa. Luckily she's loads better already thank Bob. My house still smells though.
November 3rd, 2009 at 1:01 am
Oh no, poor thing. Hope she is feeling better soon.
Can I send some washing round by the way?
November 3rd, 2009 at 8:36 pm
"Why I oughta." Shaking fist.
November 3rd, 2009 at 2:02 am
Not good, hope she’s feeling better soon.
PS That dog is evil looking
November 3rd, 2009 at 8:37 pm
She's loads better ta hon. The dog is a Hotel Burn reject. Too scary.
November 3rd, 2009 at 2:58 am
Ah, poor Miss.
That smoothie site is great – I discovered it last week – haven’t been picked yet but I’m trying!
November 3rd, 2009 at 8:38 pm
It's fab isn't it? Miss E actually got picked yesterday. She is so excited and dead proud of herself.
November 3rd, 2009 at 4:04 am
That sounds veryyy sick indeed! Oh poor little miss M, hope you get well soon or mummy will run out of washing powder by the sound of things.
BTW That dog I am sorry to say shouldn’t be allowed out in public!
November 3rd, 2009 at 4:53 am
oh my, that’s quite poorly indeed! If i were you i would just keep her in the shower until she gets better.
November 3rd, 2009 at 10:44 am
I’m sorry she’s sick. But the charts were very, very funny. I’m guessing you ran out of buckets? I seem to remember a night like that with little elf where we reached the last blanket in the house.
November 3rd, 2009 at 8:39 pm
Yep, that's what it was like. Sometimes you have to have something to lighten the moment don't you.
November 3rd, 2009 at 11:48 am
Aw, that sucks. There sure are a LOT of sick people lately. Hope she is better real soon.
November 3rd, 2009 at 8:41 pm
I suppose it's the time of year for it, but it was still pretty vile. Mine normally get coughs etc rather than sickness so this has been a shocker. She's loads better now though thanks lovely.
November 3rd, 2009 at 9:18 pm
I am so very sorry to hear that miss M has been so very sick.
boo on THAT! glad she liked the video though.
November 3rd, 2009 at 9:48 pm
Don't worry lovely. She's so much better now though E and I feel a little rough. We loved the film and watched it so many times it's mad. She is such a cutie. x
