Stripper Heels?

We’re in TK Max looking for boots for Miss E. Whilst perusing the various forms of festive footwear, I hear a small gasp from behind me and turn to see my smallest child staring at a row of shoes level with her upturned face.

These are they…

Me: ‘Mmmmm. They’re interesting aren’t they M?’

I glance at E who is watching us with one eyebrow raised and a slanted little smile crossing her face. Then my eyes return to M who is stood with small fingers gently stroking the garish footwear before her. She takes a deep breath, frowns then sighs, lips pursed as she fixes me with an unfathomable expression.

Miss M: ‘No Mummy. They’re, they’re…special.’

And I think, ‘Bugger. I hope Mr B doesn’t leave Miss M in charge of my Christmas present from the kids.’

Those blue suede stilettos in the photo? Aren’t they the same ones you wore into town the other night?

Not quite sure they are going to do much for your bad back…although if you want some help getting horizontal I am sure you will get it if you go out on the town wearing these ;-)

Gasp, you may be clunking around in those things come the New Year. I suppose Mr B knows your shoes size? Better have a quiet talk with him.
