Blog

My lovely Mum and Dad are back form Australia today.   They’ve had a wonderful time and we’ve spent the evening cooking tea and swapping stories.  We’ve filled them in on the Port Aventura, Scarborough and Disneyland adventures we’ve had while they’ve been away, and I will fill you in more on said adventures at some stage too, honest, but that is not the focus of this post.

You see, as we perused our photos I came across something that made me snort. Miss M had her first donkey ride in Filey. She isn’t on this picture, but there is something that looks a little out of place. If you spot it you win a cloud and a virtual handbag.

hung like a...

And Miss M has just asked:

“Do ants ever sleep?”

If you can answer that one I’ll give you an invisible Mars bar.

You ought to give Mr Donkey the Mars Bar JoBo… he clearly needs something to take his mind off, erm, things.

The problem with the picture is that there aren’t any cats in it.

Is it the pushchair with no child in it, or the fact that those two men with their arms crossed and giving you a dirty look?

    OMG Jo!

Is it wrong that I looked straight at the offending area?

I love Filey. Lovely little (mostly) unspoiled seaside town.

Honestly, I come over here for a spot of culture; some flowery prose; some escapism, and this is what I’m greeted with.
    I’m off for a lie down …

All these dirty minds LOL! I assume that would be considered normal to the poor ass! I was looking for something wrong in the picture, like you know the boats sitting on the sand instead of being in the water.

I couldn’t see it in the picture so I cheated and read all the comments. I should get out more. I’m getting slower by the day. Unlike that donkey.

Come on guys. Take your minds out of the gutter…

As Mwa says – I think everything is exactly where nature intended it to be.

Those two boats in the background, on the other hand…

Now THEY should be in the water.

Don’t worry about sending the prize Jo – you can bring it down when you visit your sis…

When my daughter asks questions like that I say ” I am not sure do you know?” usually she does as she knows everything :D
