Blog

With so much press about Mummy/Parent Bloggers recently I’ve had quite a few emails from people wanting to join the fun.  I’ve been sending out a reply directing them to our ning and to Erica’s course and just thought I’d put it here too as I’d have been so grateful for this when I started blogging out in May 2007.

Dear xxxxxxx

Go for it with your blog.  I find it a brilliant outlet for all the stuff in my head, whether silly or serious, and it’s also fantastic for recording the stuff your children do and say that we might otherwise forget.  There’s a whole community out there of very lovely parent bloggers.

My friend Erica at Little Mummy has also just written a free blog course that you can sign u for to get you started.  The basics are to write (obviously) but also read other blogs and comment.  You’ll soom make friends and start receiving comments of your own which is lovely.  I seriously think my blog keeps me sane.

Erica’s course can be found here

And the British Parent Bloggers Community Ning is here. There’s tons of advice there as well as over 700 bloggers.

Good luck

Jo x
