Having been stuck in the house with no car and rather a lot of snow over the last couple of days, Misses E, M, and I have been partaking of some movie goodness.
All you need is a sofa, a TV, a DVD/Blu-Ray player, at least one small and one large bottom, (I have one large and two small), and popcorn, pringles, haribo or our preferred choice, cough, carrot sticks, grapes and freshly squeezed orange juice.
And our cosy sofa bound love-ins got me thinking about the one gift every stocking should have. A good film. While there’s a ton of stuff on telly this year, if there’s nothing suitable for the whole family ,then I bring you, Disney Blu-Ray 25 word reviews, courtesy of Miss E, Miss M, Disney and digital outlook:
Ready?
Ok
Tinkerbell and the Lost Treasure

Really brilliant. Blu-Ray made it amazing. Brighter, louder, clearer. The plants and everything looked stunning. Good for boys too. Even Mummy liked it. It’s cool.
(Misses E and M gave this 4 0ut of 5 on the Beaufoix Scale, so Tinkerbell and the Lost Treasure is Strawberries Dipped in Chocolate.)
Snow White
Scary. The wicked Queen is mean. Snow White’s singing is a bit funny. It looks beautiful. The artists back then were very clever. Cute Animals.
(E and M gave this 3 out of 5, and therefore it is a big bowl of strawberries on the Beaufoix scale.)
G-Force
Brilliant. We loved it. Funny, cute and cool. The hair and the grass look amazing on blu-ray, like you could reach out and touch them.
(E and M gave this 5 out of 5 on the Beaufoix Scale which is just an enormous pile of chocolate. Yum.)
Santa Buddies
We didn’t watch much of this because Miss M got scared. She is weird. Mummy and me will watch it another day. It looks great.
And here’s the cow fart bit…
The wicked 2009 Royal Institution of Great Britian Christmas lectures are being screened on More 4 this week between 21st and 25th December at 7pm. They are usually brilliant, we watch at least some of them most years.
This year the lectures are focusing on the relationship between plants and animals and they will also be publishing a series of experiments online at The Royal Institution Christmas Lectures website giving families the chance to carry out their own experiments at home over the Christmas period when the experiments are screened on More4.
How cool is that?
Now any ideas where can we get a cow from ?

I’ll post you one. It might have to come in pieces but you can stick it back together with a bit of tape. After 12 weeks you’ll have a whole cow. A bit like those magazines that always start to sell in the new year.

LMAO Heather- will you send me one too?
Does Santa Buddies involve dogs? We’re all about the dogs in this house. Mind you the Snow white witch scares the bejeepers out of me; that’s one I wouldn’t get to the end of!

Yep, tons of dogs. Looks very cute but M got all worried so we had to turn it off. I’ve read a few reviews and it actually sounds ok.
