I heard a little girl in reception on Tuesday read the story of when Mrs May loses Sniff, and Wilma helps look for the dog. I was horrified to see what Floppy was doing up against the tree in one of the pictures!

Given the fact that my boys, having attempted to draw me on several occasions, have attributed me with a body the size of the paper and a pin-sized head, I have to say I am all for forsaking the torso and limbs all together!

Oh, she’s so adorable.

I love it when they come out with grown-up phrases.

Ella says “oh, for goodness snake!” if she drops something and when I ask her to watch something for me she’ll confirm “OK mummy, I’ll keep an iron on it” (eye on it!).
