The brilliant, hilarious, wise, sarcastic, humble, warm, honest, hopeful and just downright wonderful Xbox4Nappyrash has become a proud Daddy.
It’s been a long journey, fraught with medical intervention, trauma, distress, body parts, blood, sweat, tears and every other bodily fluid you can think of, but by God the ending is perfect and so so well deserved. If you’ve never read Martin’s blog, go back and read from the beginning of their journey of fertility/infertility/trying to conceive and you’ll understand what I mean. He is amazing and if somebody doesn’t offer him a book deal soon I will be smacked of gob because his writing is brilliant, his story heart rending and heart warming, and the ending is up there above my ramblings, in all her adorable new baby glory. Or should I say the beginning, because let’s face it, any child of Martin’s will be a force to be reckoned with.
Congrats Xbox and ET. Here’s wishing you and your little girl lots of love and laughter. And I can’t wait to meet you all on Hadrian’s Walk and shake you by the hand. Heck, I’ll probably even give you a hug unless you’re anything like our Dan. In fact, I darest you to hug Dan. If there’s anyone he’s not going to push away it’s you. ;D
