When Kids Go Wrong

Blog

I am still poorly sick and look actually quite frightening in that mad haired, eye bagged, slightly green way, but I just wanted to share with you a conversation between my friend and their little one that made me howl. (Not like a wolf).

Little 3:  ”Monty won’t do what I tell him.”

Friend N:  ”Oh dear.  What do you want him to do sweetie?”

Little J:  ”Eat you.”

That really made me howl too…with laughter and at the moment that is tough to do. Thank you so much for putting a smile on my face. That’s going to keep making me giggle now…hehe. Poor friend of yours! ;0)
Here’s hoping you are feeling better very soon. x

Sometimes kids are indeed scary, as you say.

Hope you feel better soon. I’ve just said that on the previous post. Can’t think of a different way to say it. Sorry. Unimaginative.

    Ewww snots. Get well soon!

I guess that’s what happens when you pretend to eat them up one too many times when they’re wee. Note taken.

Crumbs, that’s a warning isn’t it? Never leave children alone with animals, they’ll have them doing all sorts of unsavoury things before you know where you are.

Well, at least the dog knows you well enough not to try that one!

You’re making me feel bad now. We had the chance to take in a baby black lab. I said no because life is just too busy to cope with a puppy. Huge guilt feelings now. Just seeing that photo….he’d/she’d never eat a child…no way! Too adorable…

Awwww sorry. If it makes you feel any better we were planning on a pup last year but I realised I couldn’t take one on alone with the girls. We did get a bunny instead but he was the easy option.

    Hi Jo,

Sorry to hear you are poorly. But that little conversation must have cheered you up. I should think about getting a puppy, too :)

Thanks for your recent comment. It’s amazing how many intelligent women battle the same demons…

Maybe just a little ‘nibble’ would satisfy Little J?
