A Number Two for Tara

Blog

Lovely Tara’s Virtual Art Gallery subject today (Wednesday) is numbers.  I don’t normally like going for the obvious and had this plan to go out and spend some time looking for a tree shaped like a 9, or a carrot doing an impression of a number 372, but alas my camera is lacking a charger so I have no way of taking pics right now.

So, I had a think, and after much deliberation I made a decision.  In fact, it was kind of unavoidable.  It called to me, it beckoned me, it begged me.  Honestly, I had no choice.

What ‘number’ do bloggers with young kids talk about on a regular basis?

What becomes the focus of our lives when they’re babies, the bane of our lives when we’re potty training, and the focus of their lives, or at least their vocabulary, when they are between the ages of around 3 and 7?

You guessed it.  It has to be a number 2.

And I found the perfect pic.

Ready?

See, a number two, aka ‘one little duck’.  Isn’t it lovely?

(Come on, you really didn’t think I’d post a picture of a turd did you?  Tsk.  How rude.)

And the warning, well that hat is quite offensive and the pleading eyes of a 4 year old can be extremely distressing.  This is Miss M last year at the fabulous Roald Dahl Museum.  There was a gift shop full of books, toys, character mugs, fabulous sweets, marvellous medicine, BFG socks, Twit Recipe Cards and the like, yet what did my smallest child want, no, neeeeeed?

An enormous rubber duck.

Did she get it?

Nope, I am evil, but apart from that we had a brilliant time.

Now head over to Sticky Fingers and see what else is in the gallery today.  I have a feeling it will be fun.

    She is adorable your girl.
We also have this huge duck at home. I had to hide it as every time the girls had a bath, the duck had to come to, and the there was water everywhere…

Awww thanks Ju. I think so too. You’re right, there wouldn’t be much room in the bath with my two, 8 million barbie mermaids and that duck. I definitely made the right decision. ;D
