Suck My Ugly – The Gallery Week 6

Blog

Ex Mum in Law:  ”What a shame.”

Me:   “What’s that?”

Ex Mum in Law:  ”You’ve got ugly corn-covered feet like me Jo.”

Me:  ”Mmmm, heh heh”.

And I’m thinking, ‘What the F*ck?  I never knew there was anything wrong with my blumming feet  I actually thought they were ok!  Tsk.’

So come on, is there??

They look pretty normal to me in a kind of pale, slightly bendy toed, a bit of dry skinned (bleurghhh) foot kind of way.  The toe next to my little one on my right foot was broken in an unfortunate falling down the stairs moment when I was 35 weeks pregnant with Miss M, but otherwise they’re pretty much as nature intended.

Are they that bad?

Would they scare small children?

Are you struggling to hold onto your lunch??

And, (showing my ignorance here), are those corns on my little toes?

Oh, and erm, enjoy…

This post was written for lovely Tara’s Week 6 Gallery theme, ‘Ugly’ over at Sticky Fingers.  Head over there and take a look at all the uglies joining in this week.  I’m actually heading over there in person tomorrow with Rosie Scribble, AND we’re going to meet a whole group of fabulous bloggers.

I CAN NOT WAIT

NB I was going to post a picture of my ceiling which is still very much ‘ugly’ due to an extremely slow insurance company, grrrrrr, but I thought my feet would be uglier.  :D

Can you all, please, stop getting together over there. It’s really unfair on the expats.

I bet they’re not. I don’t get toe sucking though, even if you have the toes of a goddess. Not that I think you’re into that or anything, but just because we’re on the subject of toes.

God Jo – you think your feet are bad? Let me tell you, compared to mine, they’re angel’s tootsies! (And me, jealous of your blogger meet-up? Not much… Think of me whilst you’re drinking your tea and swapping stories!)

Potty you were thought of and your fabulousness was discussed. Hope you’re ok. Thought of you when I heard about the plane crash and when Tara mentioned the bomb. I seemed to have missed that. So sad. x

Well, they’re better looking than mine – although I’m training for a marathon so that might not be saying much! I do have a lovely black toe courtesy of about 3 blood blisters all on top of them. I have a similar shade of nail varnish on my toes to try and detract attention!

Ooohh brilliant. I’m training for Hadrian’s Walk. Or I will be…gulp. I dare say after the walk my toes will look quite scary. They may even fall off. Good luck with your marathon.

Now I quite like feet, not in a fetish sort of way, and I am always impressed with nail polish on toes, a skill I have never mastered. So no. Not ugly in the slightest.

LOL I think you’ve got perfectly passable flip flop feet for when you come to Florida later this month. Hope we get the chance to meet up when you’re here in my neck of the woods!
