We’re in the reptile house at Drayton Manor Park. The kids are entranced by all the slithery, spiky, scaly things. Their faces are pictures. Bright eyes, broad toothy grins or wide gasping mouths caught mid ‘Oooh’.
But the adults? The adults are entranced by something else..

Sighhhhh, amorous amphibians – truly joyous. I also filmed them for half a minute but to be honest it was a bit dull. Mr lizard moved once but I have a feeling he was probably just looking for the TV remote.
And, if you think I’m some kind of weird squarnate lacertillia perv then you need to know I’m not the only one who got snappy with the camera, cough, Tara, cough.
It’s not the best pic but as they were behind glass I don’t think it’s too bad. And can’t you just feel the joy?
This is a late entry to Tara’s Gallery where the theme this week is ‘joy’. I’ve not even caught up on last week’s pics yet, so apologies for that everybody. I will try, but I’m off on a fabulous blog trip to sunnier climes next week when I join 5 other lovely ladies on a Florida Sea World and Busch Gardens experience. I cannot wait, but it might mean I’m not fully up to date till the end of April. You’ll forgive me right??
Hope the rest of your week is full of joy, and if you’re not feeling it yet, head over to Tara’s for a fabulous dose of the happy stuff. You won’t regret it.

Dude. Reptile sex. Is this what we have to look forward to when we’re old and scaly? *shudders*. I think I’d rather have the tv remote.

What are these things??? I think I can see a bit of a smile on the one on top, the one under is looking frankly bored though, don’t you think? And looking straight at you in a ‘See what I have to put up with’ kind of way.

Reptiles don’t need love too. Only nice cuddly furry snuggly things need love.
Have a great trip, Jo.
