Lovely Tara’s Gallery theme today is portraits. I’ll add the links later as my internet is being evil and I can’t do it on my phone as I am dim that way, but Miss M is not Miss M today. She is Lettice the Dancing Rabbit for National Book Day. This is about as close to a portrait as I do on my blog as I tend not to show my girls’ faces, but I think a picture like this can say so much.
Head over to Tara’s at http://www.stickyfingers1.blogspot.com and have a peep at all the other portraits out there today. I know there’ll be some fabulous ones.
P.s. Thanks for all the ‘Get Well’ messages. You’re all lovely. I am loads better but still v snotty. Nice.
P.p.s. This is my favourite bloggable portrait of my girls…

That’s lovely. Very artistic the way you’ve blurred around her – you are clever. I hope she enjoyed being Lettice the Dancing Rabbit. I’ve no idea who Lettice is but she sounds fun!

I too am unaware of Lettice the Dancing Rabbit (although as we’ve just discovered Angelina in a big way, I’m sure Lettice can’t be far behind!). Lovely pictures anyway, I particularly like the one of both of them. Just perfect.

Oh I love the top one! She looks like she’s ready to jump down the rabbit hole and have a fabulous adventure.
The one of them by the sea is just beautiful. I would love to know what they are were thinking about…

I love the one of the two girls together by the sea – so lovely. It very much reminds me of my two daughters.

They are both stunning photos but yes the one on the beach is fantastic!

oooh the portrait is fabby! Really interesting photo, makes me think that they’re holding hands and looking toward their futures.

I love both of these, for different reasons. The contrast in the first one is really impactive but I love the closeness and the stillness between your girls in the second. Do you often dress them in similar clothes, or is that coincidence?

That’s such a beautiful portrait – love the colours.

Lovely. Both of them.
Have you had that deformity on Miss E’s right shoulder seen to yet? (Sorry, couldn’t resist.)

I know who Lettice the dancing rabbit is!! I have to read Lettice the Bridesmaid every other night to my 4 year old, she loves her and also wants to be her. I hope your daughter enjoyed being Lettice for the day.
