Dear Blog

I do still love you.  No really, I do; but it’s been such a mad couple of weeks and there’s no end in sight.  I’ve had two friends with health scares, two family members giving birth, a hen night, a holiday to plan, a poorly eyed child, a bump headed child, a new post called “What nobody tells you about learning to read” to write for the fabulous Ready For Ten which makes me all excited and scared at the same time.  And I had to set up a new twitter account @RFTJo as well as keeping up with my old one and I have no idea how to synch them on tweetdeck, or if that’s even possible.

This weekend I have two kids’ parties, a wedding, my lovely sis-in-law’s birthday, tea and shopping in Southwell with two fab buddies, and Miss E is away for her first school trip from Friday till Saturday and my heart will be in my mouth all the time which is bad because I am a vegetarian.  I also have a Hadrian’s Walk post to write so I can raise some more dosh, gerbils and a rabbit to clean out, and an enormous castle to build for Lionel Blair as a special favour because he once lent me his pogo stick during an emergency.

And, AND…my leg fell off.

So you can understand my absence yes?  My lack of Gallery related post today?  In fact, my overall rubbishness?

But I will make it up to you my sweet.  I promise.

Kissy kissy.

It sounds like that castle for Lionel has tipped you over the edge. Perhaps he won’t mind if you do it next month. Or year.

I believe you might be the busiest person I have heard of this month! ;) I know what you mean—I have been away from the blog of late as well. Sometimes real life takes precedence!

You could say ’sod it’ and have a martini……..Good luck with all. I did the classic last weekend – sent the boys all scrubbed and lovely present in hand to a party – on the wrong day. Oops. Hang in there xx

Well, I wasn’t really going to forgive you for all the other stuff, but now that I know your leg fell off, well, that changes everything doesn’t it? lol.

I feel your pain. I took a few months hiatus from blogging and lost all of my readership. Deservedly so. Now I am trying to win them all back but alas, they are on to more interesting things.

No harm in a break occasionally – and I’m not talking about your leg!
