Blog

When I first met lovely Susanna aka A Modern Mother , fabulous Frog in the Field, gorgeous Potty Mummy , and one of my first blog buddies Almost Mrs Average in London in 2008, Susanna asked if we fancied starting a little group.  We jumped at the chance and down to Susanna’s hard work British Mummy Bloggers was born.

Now 2 years on and it’s enormous and that’s fantastic.  There are so many kind, funny, imaginative, interesting and talented people out there.  Some are members, some are not, but all the bloggers I’ve been lucky enough to spend time with so far are good people.  Normal everyday people who aren’t perfect, but who try to go about their business with thought and decency, and who judge people as they find them with no other agenda.  These are some of the people I will be spending 6 loooong days with in less than two weeks time.

In July 2010 myself, my self and a group of lovely bloggers will be walking 84 miles along Hadrian’s Walk to raise money for The Joseph Salmon Trust.

I’m hoping my bottom will get smaller, my feet will remain blister free, and most of all that I help the Salmons to help other parents in memory of their gorgeous little boy.   It’s a privilege to take part.   I just hope I manage to do my bit and I’m asking, no, begging for anyone who can, to help by giving either a little of their time to spread the word, or a little cash.

All you have to do is click on my Just Giving page over on the right, or on my Just Giving Page Link here

And in return, I will flash my melons.

Ready?

Are you sure?

Ok…

Whoops, silly me, wrong picture.  (And yes I did take a snap of an elephant’s bottom.)

Ok, melons coming up.

Enjoy.

(Sorry Mum, but it’s all for a good cause)

Already done, Jo, several weeks ago. Good luck with the walk: may you feet be blissfully blister free and your bottom, whatever you want it to be!

Like Tim, I’ve donated already (I think through Dan’s page) but I do hope you have a fabulous time and when you get to Wallsend think of me as I was born there!
ps – wish I had melons like that!

You know I love your melons!

And you must buy compeed for possible blisters. After suffering this week they have worked wonders!

    Check your bottoms

I cannot compete with yours though lovely Laura.

And I bought a load of compeed today. They are fabulous. I will check my bottom before I go and then when I come back. Hopefully it will be smaller. :D
