Blogger and Mum, Jo Beaufoix, is thought to be on the run somewhere in ‘The North’ with her two young children, a couple of kit kats and a stolen wallaby.

The young marsupial is believed to have been stolen from Busch Gardens ‘Walkabout Way’ where it is thought Ms Beaufoix enticed young Beryl with a couple of marshmallows and a peanut, meaning she had the small macropod quite liderally eating out of her hand.

Suspicion first arose when Ms Beaufoix was seen acting strangely around the Myombe Reserve. It is now thought she was attempting to lure away a baby gorilla and Beaufoix even went so far as bribing a companion to pose as an ape in the hope of confusing staff during the head count.

Fortunately silverback Sim Sim spotted her game and reported his concerns to carers.

Not disheartened, the Brit Mum then attempted to entice away an Indian elephant during the Elephant Keeper experience using a couple of melons and a winning smile, but her efforts were met with disdain and a rather large bottom so she quickly moved on.

From what we now know of the bloggers route, it is likely the tigers were next on her hit list. However it is believed that childhood memories of a pet cat hacking up the remains of a goldfish all over her shoes dissuaded Ms Beaufoix from stuffing this stunning beast into her rucksack after disabling him with a waft of Chanel No 5.

We can also surmise that during the orangutan experience the crafty blogger had hoped to insert a cuddly decoy (supposedly bought for her daughter Miss M) into the enclosure while secreting the paintbrush wielding Luna under her hat, but it seems the animals were more than aware of Ms Beaufoix’s intentions and kept an eye on her throughout the keeper chat.

When the group reached the Serengeti Safari it was obvious the jungle drums had been in action as animals kept well away …

..and it was apparent the younger giraffes had been advised to stay close and hang around in pairs for safety.

Sadly the youngsters at Walk About Way were less prepared and it is thought that it is here that Ms Beaufoix bagged herself a small furry animal.

While no witnesses have as yet come forward, it can be concluded that the reason Ms Beaufoix failed to ride Sheikra is not because she is a great big cowardy pants, but more that she feared discovery of her charge, and the possible of joey droppage from a great height.

According to reports Ms Beaufoix is currently hiding out somewhere around the middle of Hadrian’s Wall, and has surrounded herself by other bloggers under the guise of a supposed ‘84 mile charity’ walk.
While Ms Beaufoix is unlikely to be armed, she will have blister plasters and muscle spray, (enough to disarm and disable), so it is advised the public do not approach but instead call Rolf Harris or that nice lady off of ‘Vets in Practice’ (Trude Mostue if my memory serves me well), as well as perhaps tweeting @seaworld_parks or @mybuschgardens to inform staff of the sighting.
Ms Beaufoix’s companions,Englishmum, Erica, Laura, Tara and Liz, have yet to be questioned on the matter, but it is believed they were not involved in Beryl’s liberation (Cough).
The investigation continues…..
P. S. I loved Busch Gardens. Absolutely loved it. This was my favourite part of the trip and I especially loved the attitude of the staff towards animals, guests and each other. It was a really friendly place to be, not too overwhelmingly busy as it was spread out over a large area, and this is the place, if any, that I will bring Misses E and M to one day.
P.P. S. Think of my poor blistered feet today. But think of the smiles tonight as we will have reached the half way point and be camping and partying with the Salmons, team Bandicoot and team Gnu on a campsite somewhere lovely.
