I do not want your camel

Blog

I have a request.

If you have a spare camel please stay away from me.

Or a monkey, or  a tiger, or a large hairy dog, or a very photogenic guinea pig.

In fact, if you have anything soft and fluffy and you see me coming, run away.  Run far far away, because in my current hormonal state there’s a good chance I will try to buy/steal or adopt it.

Meet Miss L…

She is small and sweet and wees a lot more than I thought she would.  Once Mr Z has had a trip to the vets for a small op, she will become his buddy and they will be able to cuddle up during the long winter nights and watch romantic movies while munching chocolates.

But until then she will be living in the hutch above and will only be allowed to talk to him when she is in the run while he roams about the garden doing all those embarrassing things young boy rabbits do to impress young girl rabbits.

She’s lovely isn’t she?  And two rabbits are better than one, that’s the well known old saying right?

(Sidles away quietly with head bowed in shame.)

But I’ve bought you a camel.
It’s sitting in our garden waiting for you with a big red bow tied round its neck.
What am I supposed to do with it now?

It’s good to have two, it means they won’t get lonely, and that’s important!

What a sweet face. I wish I was not allergic to rabbits—they are so cute and soft!!!

They are so lovely Susan. Miss E is a little allergic but we just have to wash her hands and give her her ‘itchy medicine’ if she has touched her eyes. We get so much back from them. They’re funny little monkeys and such characters.
