We trick or treated.
It was our first time.
It was good.
We only went to well lit houses, or houses with pumpkins in windows, and the house with half the front lawn dug up and a vampire climbing out of a grave and a lady with a scythe and a scary looking man who wasn’t actually in costume…

I don’t think we scared anybody, I don’t think we were a nuisance, and it was lovely seeing the smiles on so many faces, young and old as we took a night out to dress up, be silly and meet some of the neighbours.

It’s made me realise even more how much I like where we live. There are good people here. I’m so glad this house came along when we needed it.

Trick or treat, smell my feet, give me something good to eat! Not too big not too small, just the size of Montreal!

It actually was. I’ve never let them do it before but it was great. I bet the American version is amazing though.

We didn’t go out trick or treating, Little E is still abit young. We did dress up though, and Big E went to the door with the sweets so he could see all the children dressed up. There were loads last night!
Fun!

Awwwwww that’s what we’ve always done up till now. There were quite a few little tiny babes dressed up with huooowge bowls of goodies. They were so cute. xx

Glad to hear the UK is also getting into the spirt of decorating outdoors for Halloween!
My boys had a blast too – they were so exhausted when we got back that they went straight to bed (that is, after demolishing a couple of Kit Kats…).

They are. It’s the best I’ve ever seen. We really enjoyed it.

Halloween was always my favorite holiday as a kid… I loved dressing up in costume and walking all over town to knock on doors and get candy—so much fun! As an adult I love the decorations everyone puts out—and your jack o’lanterns look great! There is something magical about strolling outside in the crip fall air seeing fallen leaves and pumpkins and Indian corn, and enjoying the last of the season before snow comes.

It was such fun. Those jack o’lanterns were some we saw on our travels. There were leaves everywhere and it was gorgeous.

I found your blog as a recommendation from Google Reader. I love your site! I’m going to poke around a little bit, but don’t worry I’ll put everything back where I found it!!

Hee hee thanks Kate. Don’t worry, we like it kind of messy round here. Nice to meet you.
